Mbye game review

I thought he had a great game, unlike most of our forwards who again capitulated. Would we be higher up the ladder if he was here earlier? Perhaps but we can't expect to win games when our pack is being dominated and I still believe that they are capable of great things, as in the first 5 weeks. To me something has gone wrong that we are unaware of and it is showing in our on field efforts.

Would have been a lot happier if he hadn't of thrown the pass behind Kev, but he put in a good first up performance in a side that had little ball.

Ha…you blokes are easy on a guy that basically gave two try assists to the Titans!!
I am sorry to say it will be fun watching your optimism fade.

Best player on the field for us.

Lolohea will never see the NRL again in the no 1 jumper.

After he first 2 games he should have never been selected there again.
5/8 is the only position I would ever "consider"__ playing him.

Mate, the guy played his first game with us in a completely different structure he has been used to with new team mates….
fantastic first up effort and got involved as much as he could...at least most of us can be positive about our new fullback...

Thought he played reasonably well, Kev could never have taken that pass, far too hard and slightly misdirected. Whilst he talked through the whole game - he wasn't organising our goal line defence too well.

Having said all that - it was his first game and these things will progess.

Well done Mbye. (refuse to call him Moses, reminds me too much of the tanker).

I think Mbye may have restored faith in the name “Moses”

No way - it has been contaminated for good.

In fact the "Good news Bible" is thinking of changing the name in their version to "Whatshisname"

Good debut - so knives are withheld for another few weeks.

The normal throwers have plenty of targets lined up at the moment, but it's likely some are already chomping on the bit waiting to have a go, so little doubt his turn will come.

Had a great game, so did Faf and Rowdy, now just need to find another 14 players and we can field a 1st grade squad.

Great debut.
Still can't believe we nabbed him.
Class.

True.

He also showed a bit of urgency when getting the ball when it was near our in-goal line or getting the ball up the ground. Which is something Tui showed very little of.

That was very noticeable, a definite upgrade, and the dogs are paying some of is wage, win win for me
