**How he's treated our club has been unfair.**

He's easily top 5 worst players we've signed in the last 10-15 years.

Imo there Demps, totally, right on. He doesn't seem to care, he nor Packer how crippled their contracts have left our club. Our own fault for doing the contracts sure, but they have a responsibility to try and make it work.

Maybe MBye has been (he seems to be having more of a go then Packer but maybe Packer's injured? idk) but it does appear to not have been a big enough effort from an outsider's point of view.

Packer is having a laugh aye.

These guys are disgraceful imo.
Strong believe in, "If you do something, do it the best you can"
These pair have never shown any interest.

Ivan can only be blamed so much.
I hope we learn from this and only recruit players who are willing to put in.

Did you hear on here a few months ago, a poster posted that an ex-player (of pretty decent calibre) approached Packer whilst Russell was in Reserves offering advice on how he can get back to First Grade. Packer's response was of thanks but no thanks, I'm right thanks.

That's not a rumour - Packer is a lot of things - an idiot is not one of them, he's a realist and knows his career is coming to an end, hence all the study he's done over the past few years - he'll walk into some type of business management role next year.

Yep got his MBA. Had plenty of time to do his assignments while injured.

So you’re telling me no one who has been properly rehabilitated with a degree can get a job?

Pathetic thread. The man can play not he's fault we paid him too much and haven't found his position. Stuff like this makes this forum a sad place to be

Firstly forget the money he is on - I am not taking that into consideration.

If he can play (which I don't think he can, not very well anyway), that makes his efforts on the field, even worse.

If he can play, as you say - then his lack of effort, disinterest, apathy, enthusiasm and general couldn't care less attitude means he must be TANKING then.

That puts him in the "Slimy little Eel fart" category. Not a good place to be.

Mbye is far from our worst player. A few seasons ago he was one of our best. He joined to play under Cleary which he went ok. **Madge doesn’t know how to use him**. As to his contract $$ that’s not on him the club put him on a monster deal just like Packer, Reynolds and Mats. Those 3 would be worse than Mbye by a mile for us regarding signings. Our big name recruits have a history of being diabolical with us because we just don’t play them how they played at the previous club - we have a habit of trying to work round pegs into square hole syndrome.

So where should we use him?

There's like 4 games left...
Hopefully that is some one else's problem soon enough.

He's always been a #6
And he's always been a Bulldog.

Keen to see if he has a dig at his next club as he never did for us.

Pretty sure he played 9 in a GF...
Listening to the Bulldogs banter at the time we signed him, And it was clear then was the only Place Mbye works hard at is the Lips.
He's always talked the talk, Seems a nice enough guys - And probably a reasonably clever football brain...
But he's Lazy, Overpaid, And Does.Not.Give.A.Rats...

More than once I've seen on his socials him having fish and chips for lunch with his family at the beach (No Beaches around the inner west) when we're playing later in the day....
I don't begrudge a guy Lunch, Or his Family.... But surely that's not game day activity for a professional footballer / Club captain.

He's a magician the deals he's talked his way into...
We'll lose absolutely nothing from our team if we pay his full freight next year...

On the other side of the coin - How good is Corey Norman going when he's getting replaced with Moses Mbye?? And a side note to that - I don't watch the Dragons but i remember Corey Norman "Winning them Games" in his time there - I've barely seen Moses Mbye break out of a jog for us.... And maybe once scored a try that put a game beyond reach.

so will the next, so on and so forth....

Pretty sure carbo loading before and after a game is a thing . Especially during the warmer months , and getting as many fats as you can get . Due to the extreme workload a guy can get through during an nrl game .
How do you know what the dietician has approved and not approved ?
Imagine stalking a dudes Instagram and criticising him for have a couple of calamari rings and a few chips for lunch when he plays at 730 that night .
The lack of walking the walk , for sure , that’s a thing , but the rest really shows your lack of knowledge not his lack of commitment .

Not at all - Do the math...
He's an hour from home 3-4 hours before we play, And he has to be there 2 hours before we play...

I've read countless player interviews on Game Day routines.... None of them say, I chill out with the fam in the city all day and then rush home and grab my gear just before the game at 5:30.
That's a lack of commitment - and zero care factor.
If that's not enough, Then he hits the park to remind us how much he "Cares"

What ? If you have a feed a 12.30 and you play at 730 it’s 7 hrs between the 2 . It’s irrelevant what you do in between those hrs .
Also if I played when I had kids , there’s a high likelihood I’d have spent a fair chunk of time chilling out with them on game day .
What do you want him to do ? Sit in a corner in his garage with the lights off visualising the opposition whilst punching holes in his gyrock ? Haha
