Today showed why he is easily the best fullback at the club. As long as he is fit he should have a mortgage on the number 1 jersey here. Thoughts?

he chimes in well in attack and defends just as well too, just hope that the hammy doesn't cause any more issues this year
Had a fantastic game, support play was brilliant, that tackle on Dane Tilse in the last 20 minutes was simply amazing. He really really impressed me today, that pick up too in the first half! Wow, great game McKinnon, the kind of performance I expected from him when I'd heard we poached him from NZ.

Hard to mount an argument against Mckinnon after today. He still looks to lack pace and i still feel we could "find" someone better, but if he keeps playing like today than im happy to have him wear the one.

He always makes meters with the ball, and is not afraid of taking a hit-up, and despite Lui hitting the gap, the real credit for that try goes to Beau for not grassing that awful pass he got, then somehow getting a magic ball to Fifita.
slight tweak to the team IMHO would be to put beau in the centres, and put moltzen back to 14.
dunno whats gonna happen to either of them when Tuqiri and Lawrence are back though, and also poor Mitch Brown will be out too.

McKinnon's positional play is Hogo like, okay lacks pace but every week he and Marshall are getting a better combination going. I think wade with a torn hammy is better than the other two options we have used!!!

I`ve got to admit I didn`t think McKinnon was still capable of playing as well as he did today.
I haven`t seen him play even close to that well for the Wests Tigers before and haven`t seen him play that well for about 3 years.
I`m happy to be wrong though, it just makes the Wests Tigers side even stronger if McKinnon can keep playing as well as he did today.

Coul dhave 4 at least if the ball had bounced his way. A great game and I have to be honest i was sceptical and still ma to an extent re his injury but happy with today. Itis great to have a specialist FB on the field.
His tackle on Shillington was it? on the the line was just outstanding it looked for all monet the big man was just going to barge over.

He played a fullbacks game that Moltzen could only dream about,and for those Timmy lovers,Wade got 2 tries,if it was a fight the ref would have stopped it by now.
