McKinnon

Enjoy him while he lasts.
I doubt he has much life left in the NRL.
He is our only actual NRL quality fullback though… so of course he's first choice when uninjured.

Today showed why he is easily the best fullback at the club. As long as he is fit he should have a mortgage on the number 1 jersey here. Thoughts?

Agree MOM today just ahead of Heighington and Marshall IMO. His support play is second to none, if he just had the pace he had before his knee reco and hammy problems he'd be brilliant. As it is he was excellent today and the Tigers style of play suits him very well.

He played a fullbacks game that Moltzen could only dream about, and for those Timmy lovers,Wade got 2 tries,if it was a fight the ref would have stopped it by now.

You're a bitter, little man, aren't you?

Take your advice champ and go home, cause you're soft as.

Everybody should pray to the gods that his hamstring does not play up anymore. We really need him given Sheens' reluctance to play Brown at fullback when he is injured.

Has always been safe at the back. The difference today was that he went looking to support players in attack. He is the no. 1 for 2011 for sure.
Give Moltzen time to find his feet though - he is a great player.

The important thing about McKinnon's game is that he positions himself well in both attack and defence. This is not something that can be coached, as it is something that is instinctive. He is the best in the Club.

Ryan's go forward? The only thing Ryan is good for is to be the first to race in and congratulate a try scorer.

He always makes meters with the ball, and is not afraid of taking a hit-up,

Knows how to bomb certain tries too.

x2 he is positionally the best fullback in NRL bar none . To all you Moltzen at fullback lovers thats how a fullback needs to play all the time

How does a thread for McKinnon turn into another bagging Molltzen again?
Kul is right - nobody ( well maybe one person) thinks Moltzen should be playing fullback.
McKinnon deserves all the praise he gets - he is just a great fullback.
Showed his class and calmness again yesterday.
As for Moltzen bashing - go to all the other threads already devoted to bagging him.

If he play the last 2 weeks we beat the titans and make the broncos game at least a tight contest

A specialist fullback is worth their weight in gold in the modern game. I don't care how slow he is, he is brilliant

I can think of at least two in particular who continually go on about How pace at fullback is more important than skill and positional play Kul . I've never knocked him as a player Kul (other than when he is at fullback)and understand what he is going thru with his knee . But think at this stage he is a good fill in at centre and when we are at full strength that he will be the 14 .

That makes no sense,go home you say, where did I offer that up,and as for the rest, what I would like to say would get me banned from here.

how good is it to have a fullback playing at fullback! the way he attacked that ball when dugan grubbered through was just brilliant!

I think McKinnon may not be as slow as some here point out. Looking at replays of duggans first try(well kinda try) McKinnon is actually involved in the tackle on ferguson, then is the last man attempting to stop duggan from scoring arriving as ayshford falls of the tackle. He done a fair effort to get up from the tackle and be back to the goal line when duggan is trying to score considering he was at full flight from the start of the play to pretty much the goal line he got a perfect bounce didn't have to stop to collect the ball.
