oh god i hope not.

This guy is an overrated piece of garbage.

I'm astonished every time queensland pick him in their team. They do not usually get selections wrong

Piece of garbage?

yeah I don't rate him. He's not a workhouse, and he's not an impact second rower. He's awkwardly inbetween

Neither are Ryan Hoffman, beau Scott or sam Thaiday- they don't have high tackle counts or high metres, but they're solid, run good lines and save tries imo

I disagree. I classify both hoffman and thaiday as good, impact second rowers. They run good lines and score a fair few tries for a second rower.

beau scott is similar to mcqueen in my opinion… overrated under this pretence that he is "tough".

I think for this year and next, we really need to be looking for those young players who are good enough, but can't get a regular gig in the mould of Tapau, Fifita, Austin etc.

They are first grade quality without the price tag.

Finding them is another story, but if we are going to spend up on "marquee" players, McQueen isn't one of them. I see him in the Blair and Tuquiri mould.

JT's head is in the right place though. Our back row needs an overhaul.

McQueen has been a member of a very strong hard pack at Souths for a few years, his job is made easier as everyone is pulling their weight and their is pressure for spots. I have seen time and time again when you take a player out of this sort of environment they can really struggle when they are not surrounded by very good players. Anyway my point, I think McQueen could struggle with us but who knows every signing you make is a punt, and every now and again you strike gold like with Marty Kapow!!!

We have let a few go. It is time to sign some. I think this one has some credibility ? . Not a bad signing if true.

a few about 10 + we need players

But we need money to buy players. Unfortunately it looks like this money has gone a long way down south, Either that or with pre-training starting tomorrow management has gone completely asleep and its a case of shut the gate the horse has bolted.
