Really bad look for the Storm.

Only truthful part came at 27 minute mark.

Welfare card ay, brandan and Munster looked pretty dam happy to me before this happened.

I watched this.

I didn't hear any substance in the words the players said. I really find it hard to believe this was the first time, especially for Munster who has a reputation of being a party boy.

The punishment is quite light and the CEO saying it's a welfare thing so they're going to get help from health professionals to address the situation and players behaviour is baffling. I believe thr players did what they did for no other reason other than they're indulgent, reckless, idiotic boys who were trying to party /have fun. No mental health reasoning behind it , it's quite simple. Same reason Bazza would do the same on the weekend after his long work week.

The drug culture within in the game is quite clear and prevalent and has been for years now. We've got players doing drugs all the time and Retired players getting caught up in trafficking, importing and God knows what else. Jamil Hopate, Jarrod Mullen to name a few.

Stronger penalties need to be in place much like when Wendell Sailor was stomped out of professional sports for what was, I believe, was two years.

Tyson Fury said cocaine is a weak man's drug. It gives the weakest man the confidence to think he's the strongest man. Being a junkie or a guy with a drug habit has never been cool in my eyes. This guys need to get their act together because I'm sure the lads in prison aren't going to care how many premierships they've won.

😂😂😂😂that was great👍.
Munster's crocodile tears as he realises he supposedly won't be having a beer for 12 months.
$100k fully suspended fine? Might as well go for full shock value and make it $10 mill, they won't be paying a cent of it so why even insult people's intelligence by offering that sort of laughable garbage up in the first place?
Rodski or whatever his name is stating that the Storm club are upset that this incident has reduced the integrity of their organisation. I would've thought that getting caught out cheating and then vehemently denying anything wrong ever took place a decade ago would've wiped any perceived semblance of integrity within that club from many people's thoughts to begin with.

Storm are the standard for what success is.

They shouldn't be successful yet due to sensible management and a gun of a coach they are a brilliant club.

This is the club that we should emulate.

I loved when they asked him so how will you be policing munsters booze ban.. errr we not, honest system, pretty much said if the media catch him.

That was cringe.

Nothing believable about that... limited memory of what took place in that hotel room? Pfffffffft.

Very poorly handled from Storm and the NRL.

Lesser players would have been punted.

Mate that was a train wreck, the greats have all left the club and it is showing the club is no longer great.

Did he lose his Dan Murphy membership?
Geezze, didn’t Cody Walker have a great season after giving up the Booz?

Could've been ket instead of coke. Would probably explain why Munster was floating an inch off the ground.
You think cause you're an unidentified white powder i won't snort ya !

Lee was just on radio no Tigers discussed just legal issues. I guess the Melbourne ceo was in hard place, if the players are denying drug use, with presumption of innocence and right to silence you can't come out and point the finger and say YOU did it you liar.

In some respect they are really tied down by what the players say.

Not sure what everyone expected Storm to do? The only legal basis they would have would be to cause the club and the game to come into disrepute. Ogden and Walsh were caught by the cops, Lachlan Lewis was again found and proven to have done something illegal. Munster and Brandon were "around" a white powder. It's up to others to prove that they used the substance, not the other way around.

It's well- handled. Let's move on.

Was not well handled.

They got caught spinning.

If that's the case they should of just put the onus on the players. Go light on them and say we don't necessarily believe everything they are saying but we can only go off what they say and any further questions ask the players

If there was a manual on what not to do the Storm just done it.

Drug test them and that would have identified if it was an illegal substance.

You can do hair follicle testing that would identify it long after it has left their system.

Baden got 4 weeks last year and they get a game. James Roberts got the same for getting fresh air on a balcony

Another example of the bias towards strong teams by the NRL

Naden was caught with it. These guys weren't. And no one is stupid enough to confess when there is actually no proof of it. And if they do confess, they probably get a criminal charge against them.

People here are living in a fairy world

Storm are very good and having a bad memory. Like the second book of accounts, players knew nothing, yeah right. Explain that boat sitting in your driveway then.

Also, It would be in the RLPA contracts that they can't be drug tested in the off-season. That's why they do it in the off-season.

Culture .... Melbourne Storm setting the standard since 1999...

I would be very surprised if they had that clause in their contracts. It would be an admission of guilt in my eyes even asking for it.

Well-handled???????😂😂😂😂
You sure you didn't partake in a bit of that talcum powder as well?
Couldn't of been much worse-handled. Perhaps if Todd Greenberg had still been in charge it could've been ballsed-up a smidgen more.

Well handled.......😂😂😂😂😂thanks for the chuckle👍
