MEMBERS TO TURN ANZ STADIUM INTO A TIGERS FORTRESS
6/09/2011 3:11:30 PM

Wests Tigers Members have been invited to help transform ANZ Stadium into a black and gold fortress in preparation for the Club's qualifying final on Friday night.

ANZ Stadium will open its gates on Thursday afternoon, giving Wests Tigers members exclusive access the day before the big game to dress the venue.

This initiative will give Members the opportunity to help the Wests Tigers feel at home when they take on St George-Illawarra Dragons in a crucial Week 1 final.

ANZ Stadium is full of spaces to drape banners, flags, streamers – the venue is your canvas.

Black and orange paint (TDC Edit: hopefully white as well!!!!) , paint brushes, blank banners, streamers and ribbon will be all be provided. Pre-made banners are welcome.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to give our boys the edge!

Wests Tigers will be the first club to take part in this initiative. Let’s set an unbeatable benchmark.

To get involved, Wests Tigers Members must register at <anzstadium@anzstadium.com.au>. Please provide your name, phone number and email address. Stadium access details will be provided once you register.</anzstadium@anzstadium.com.au>

Great initiative…I'd love to see a Wests Tigers Jersey draped over the top tier seats!...

Flick that up to The Tigers media team to see if they can get it done by Friday!

Why an ocean of Black and Gold ?

Thats not Wests Tigers Colours.

Due to work commitments I can't make it out the but would love to see

1\. A massive WESTS TIGERS in white, orange & black appearing where the Bulldogs usually is.
2\. Some large Jersey cutouts with all of the players names & numbers that have played in 1st grade this year.
3\. Thumb tacks glued onto every dragons member area seats

A great initiative by our club, hope they will be taking the lead and have a few things organised already like the large jersey mentioned by Alexaki, I think they already have large flags, the reason I hope the club has a few of these things organised is because it is short notice, which I know can't be helped as results and rankings weren't known until late. The stadium should look good decked out in black, white and gold.
