Membership and Crowd Numbers

That number probably included the total number of visitors to the stream page, not the total number of unique users, which is a far more accurate measure. People logging on 4-5 times to try and re-load the stream doesn't count as 4-5 people.

I thought Mayer said there were 16k people who watched the stream? Considering it wasn't televised, and would include some Sharks fans, that seem about right.

Membership is a different story…there are a lot of economic reasons people don't by into memberships but again a winning football team will increase that base as well....

Put simply we are fickle...

It is true, but of more clubs than just Tigers. Crowds die away from struggling teams.
