Memories

Everybody seems to have forgotten Ben Galea, tough as nails
Played 150 games for the club

I always felt the same way about Darren Senter, he was as tough as old boots gave the odd penalty away but always let the opposition know he was on the field and was not going to give up and they would have to fight for every point. He was a bloke who epitomised what Balmain and the Magpies had always prided themselves for and what WT should be

One to look back at . The NRL wants to resume the bubble so Covid doesn’t ruin the finals series with players forced to sit it out . The real issue is the the premiers won’t stop taking selfies with all kind of scum .

Eddy Pettybourne , what a chumpion he was . The way he played with us was something I’ll never forget , and the blonde hair doo . Legend

Buddy Gordon. His girlfriend joined the forum not long after he signed, argued with anyone who was skeptical of his signing, then disappeared after he got punted from the club for giving a fake name at a school clinic.

CANS ESKY DARTS & LO HILL/ LIDCOMBE = ready sink aim fire
ahhh those days , under those condition
refs had no chance in those days with the fuelled crowd showing it’s true feelings, and you got to run on after the game.

My first car, a HT panel van with a186 red motor.
KB crinkled gold can, yum yum.
Playing touch footy on the LO hill as a kid and running onto the field at full time to compete for the corner post.
The old double decker buses.
Balmain Leagues Club 😭.
Every pub between Broadway and LO.
RugbyLeague magazine

Hodgo for me, I still have a poster of him from 2005 hanging up. I still see him around the area at times driving around in his black and gold mustang, he also lined up right next to me another time at the local chicken shop 😂
Benji was the first one to give me hope and optimism as a Tigers fan when he burst onto the scene in 03. Robbie and Gareth were my favourites after Hodgo left in 08. Lote as well when he was fit.
