a kid like miller imo WILL be a star, sooner or later
imo, what we should've done is give him a 2 year contract to show him that WE have faith in him and are ready to back him even if he fails in 2013.
he is still young and would be starting his 1st year of NRL, i doubt he would get complacent.

To me it seems so obvious that Miller has the game to complement Benji, and he has a great combo with Koro to boot.

Im hoping like hell that Miller turns out to be a great player for us. But I haven't seen a game of his yet (albeit I would have only see him play 10 or so games) that I have thought "wow, this kid is really gonna make a name for himself in the NRL". Of course players take time to develop, but I just don't know how long we can afford to not be competitive due to not having a dominant half that controls the game
I'd like to avoid Jennings for 2013.
Picking up a hot/cold expensive centre and hoping our hot/cold 1st grade side can spark him into form seems like a Hail Mary play if ever I've seen one. We aren't going to be short of speed and we have talent to burn in the backline. The question is getting a coach to unleash what we already have, not to pile more eggs into one basket and hope for the best.
