Has he ever done anything apart from a smidgeon of a music career
albeit 100 years ago?

He is still playing albeit some spinoff of performers who have passed on. He played with the Masters Apprentices when they toured England but wasn't their regular bass player. The band he was in was The Throb and should have been more renowned than what they were. Had 3 great singles in Fortune Teller, Believe In Me and Black. Was in a couple of other minor bands.

Because he’s highly regarded at the Panthers’, you know, the best team in the comp? And is their defensive coach. So while we can never be sure, that all bodes quite well compared to most other available options on the market. I don’t know what the answer is but Madge is gone so the club needs to dig itself out of a hole.. again. Hopefully this turns out differently than the last 4 or so rebuilds.. Lol

Don't be surprised if Hastings and Douhie follow Madge to his next club, I expect neither of them to resign now .

We only want players that want to play for the badge... If they want to follow Madge on his next fairy tail I say bye bye. But I don't believe it. These guys seem to me to be club men.

If it is Ciraldo, Tamou, Laurie and Blore will know him well and be familiar with his methods. This will sit well with team mates.

I think most people are more concerned how Doueihi and Hastings feel about the new coach and probably don’t care what Tamou thinks given he probably won’t be here in 2023.

I'm guessing he has had a bigger musical career than you have. As for being on the board of WT it comes via the convoluted maze of being a Director at Wests Ashfield which if you are also a debenture holder guarantees you a Directorship for life. Why is he on the WT board - who knows.

The overall performance/progress of the club is low because there's always been resistance to change. Mate we have to move away from mediocrity and stagnation, but the only way to do this is plan and implement the changes that bring us closer to our goals to ensure we don't keep following the same trajectory.

Has he ever been the top dog . And if not has he shown the qualities , that will lead to him thriving in that position . And finally do those qualities mesh with what wests tigers wants .
That’s the issue .

I gotta say . Tim sheens reason makes a tonne of sense to me . The word on the street was certain players were reluctant to sign eg. Angus Chricton because they had no idea who the coach was going to be .
Not only that but strategies around recruitment , retention, pathways , what type of systems the whole club would put in place in regards to the way we play .
It’s true . Was Madge going to be around in 2025 ? Does anyone at all actually think that he was ?

That’s just one example . Madge has 3 and a half years . I wanted him to stay , but more for continuity and his character as a person than any belief he was a good football coach .

I hate the use of the word "terminated" in a thank you post on socials and website.

The club has no clue. Lucky Pascoe sells so many hats and we can afford the 800k.

Because our leadership have no idea about footy they keep getting it wrong. Taylor, Cleary, Madge and now Sheens. 3 out of 4 gone after selling a vision to the board and various CEOs. 4th one failed so badly in his last year that we felt the impact for years, sued us, and comes back like some saviour.

Potentially the right call on Madge, but hate the way it's played out publicly and over months really. Any gains we made in culture, work ethic and accountability over recent months gone.

On Ciraldo, spare me. He might end up OK but he is an assistant and they are not the same gig. He can have a shot, because who else is there, but it's a gamble and we're down to our last $5. Morris has done OK when given a chance. Toddy and Sheens, could be another option and will result in a spoon or premiership within 2 years as they are both nuts. Don't care as much as I used to. Nothing will change until the head is cut off the snake.
