Agree.I am cautious. This year after allowing myself to be overly optimistic and paying the bitter price.

The club is headed in the right direction.

Just my take but he sounded like a person where reality has just sunk in,its going to be a tough season for a rookie coach but fingers crossed Blair & Benji come good. I think we have a good early season draw,Newcastle-Penrith-Eels before running into Manly & the Storm,hope we can get away with 2 wins(or better) from the first 3 otherwise its going to be a long long season.

Who is a rookie coach? Potter has coached 6 seasons in the Super League.

Funny i did'nt get that impression at all. I heard very measured reponse careful not to really give any indication how he feels they will do. I actually feel he was quite honest taking each game as it comes and trying to win as many as possible. He doesn;t really know what to expect as has not worked with any of these players and until Game 1 won;t know what works and what does'nt. We have a rare opportunity, no real expectations outside the club so we can really fly under the radar. The Sharks, Bulldogs and especially the Knights will be expected to be the big acheivers.
