Mid Season Signings

There is so much happening within the NRL that doesn't sit well with me. For the life of me I can't see how mid season signings are good for the clubs, players, or fans. It takes away from what's happening on the field as fans obsess over it, must be unsettling for the players who are being moved on, and the teams they are leaving, and or linked with especially if you are going to be competing for your spot. It's a professional sport but is it any wonder that players are not effected by losses knowing that at any point they may be starting in another clubs jersey.

Makes sense to allow mid season transfers for players that fall out of favour early in the season, but I think June 30 is too late to have the deadline. May 31st would be a bit better

Deadline has been pushed back I think its end August

Wow, that would be insane if true, considering the finals start in September.
