Interesting game. The first 20 minutes was a continuation of last Monday’s debacle. To much individualism. After that they pulled themselves together and acted as a team. Great response.

@Newtown If Reynold's is ready I think he should come back but I'd like to see Matterson with a more dynamic role at lock possibly, getting his hands on the ball more, etc. Because at second row I felt we were just not using him enough with simple cut out passes and seeing what he could do at half confirmed that

Yeah I’ll cop that. I stayed silent all last week and said nothing when I heard our players were not happy with Maguire. But at 0-14 I blew a gasket! So, the boys showed alit of guts tonight to rally and then defend their butts off in the 60-70 minute section. Great win!

He was solid mate nothing outstanding but nothing wrong really..combined very well with Brooks in defence..

We’ve found our long term 6 in Matterson, McQueen can’t be expected to be up to speed after 14 months in reserve grade, he went ok though
