we could have used him two years ago.
having him there was noticeable. our attack is definitely going to benefit.
our edges are going to benefit this season.
 
I thought he went OK….some good touches, took on the line a few times, tried to mix it up, D not bad, kicking probably lets him down a bit
 
not saying he was the greatest since sliced bread, but the fact we had a proper ball playing half in there taking it to the line was noticeable.

i am going to back track on my thoughts at benji at 6\. with miller at 7, he is in for a good year.
 
The problem is that Benji says he wants to play 5/8 but he doesnt. He wants to play halfback but wear 6\. Its gonna be a tough job for potter to get Benji to back off a little. Not really Benjis fault as thats how he has been told to play for years…..
 
His defence was awesome. Benji should watch his technique.

not a bad thing. he did his job. the ball shifted without error. positive signs.
 
Could not disagree more strongly with some of the sentiments here.

Un-sighted went missing.

Don't think he has it. Tonight was a perfect opportunity for him to get stuck in and he was no where.

No kicking, did not want the ball on the 5th,

We are probably better with him than without, but he isn't the one we are looking for
 
I believe he made one error. Other than that he had a great night and his last ten minutes were amazing I wish he plays like that for the whole game.
 
When forwards lay a platform for about 15 minutes , how do you expect Miller to shine

it was a trial.
he was not going to have a DCE/JT performance in this match.
hes being blooded as a fulltime first grade half back.
only needs to provide service and do his job - not set the world on fire.
dont think he turned away the ball on the 5th, it would be hard when competing with the likes of hogs like marshall and farah.
 
I thought he went OK for early days. His short kicks were wanting, but I was impressed by his defence. Took on the line a couple of times.

One thing we learnt last season is chopping and changing our halves won't work. Let's see how he is in ten weeks.

Thats it…while most teams are trying to bulk up their pack.. we buy Braith, Eddy and somebody named Bodene..
