Really impressed with his defence tonight Made a try saver on Ben Smith and next tackle scrambles and then gets Roberts on the sixth

He seemed in and out of the game in attack , but we seem a far better side when he is involved in our attack

Well done Jacob keep up the good work

Yeh he was good again, though he had a bad read in one of their trys ….I think it was him Moltzen was screaming at and bagging out after it

Great to see Robbie showing faith in him for the drop goal....

I think he did some good things tonight. I liked the calmly potted field goal. He's got a good step so if he takes on the line at the end of the halves against some tired forwards he should make a few breaks.

Coming along nicely, I can understand why potter isn't giving him a lot of kicking duties at the moment, but I think eventually when he gets it his game will improve even more and the team will benefit from it also.

He looks dangerous when he runs the ball. That step has proved to be very effective when he uses it.

As above, was a mixed bag, more good than bad though. Backed himself a few times for good results, had a nice long ball out to Benji at the 8th min odd wasnt mucking around and was on the money, backed himself with confidence for the drop goal was actually a well set play with benji as option as well.

Healthy pass for the young fella from me

He is looking good, but after seeing Brooks today he will have to go to another level to keep the jumper. Brooks is by far the best young seven I have seen for a while

Has got better with each game, very solid defender pound for pound, good kicking game and I like his willingness to take on the line (Marshall could look and learn from him in this department).

Still think he could be a little more creative in attack, Marshall/Farah are still featuring far too heavily in attacking plays. Part of our success in 2010/11 was having another quality 1st/2nd receiver in Lui who could absolve Marshall/Farah from a certain level of responsibility in attack. This is what Miller needs to do and what I believe he can do as the year proceeds.

If only Lui had Miller's defence or Miller had Lui's running and passing game

You think he's ready this year for first grade?

Miller is warming to the task nicely. You can see his confidence is getting better every week.

He is definately looking better in attack. He doesn't mind taking the line on and is a bit elusive.

His defense was a little poor at times but he is a rookie halfback and they are the targets for opposition attacks.

I like the improvement im seeing. I actually think he is equivalent of where Lui was at in the same stage of his career. Haven't seen Brooks so i can't comment on that.

Saw Brooks last night, looks like Johns, plays like Johns. I would say best kicking game in the club, one line drop out went well over the 1/2 way and Parra had to cart it back from the 30m some 70 yards out. In saying that, he is playing in the u20s and Miller is a veteran of 4 years in the 20s and is coming along nicely in the top grade.

I think for now I would keep things as they are, but gee we are in a healthy position with our no7s for the first time in years
