'it was a bit of a risk leaving the tigers but I could be sitting in nsw cup or playing 5 minutes in first grade in different positions every week'

whats he currently doing in first grade at the bulldogs?

*Tumbleweed rolls by*

Yeah I thought so.

So his career is currently the same as it was at the tigers, Sans the Five minutes or so in FG every now and then…. hmm.

The point - UD - is the 5 mins in first grade every few weeks
No one else does this as often as Sheens
A waste of time

In your opinion Ink.

IMO having a back on the bench is crucial, just in case someone gets hurt.

Like last week.

I think a "utility" is a better option - people around here are mainly upset at the times when we have two backs on the bench.

I would have thought as a struggling First Grader trying to get a crack, ANY exposure to FG would be a good thing. You can kill it all you want in state cup, but if in that 5 minutes you go out there and score two tries, and win a game single handedly in the dying stages (unlikely, I will agree) you would be more likely to get a permanent spot…

Not the right thing i will agree, but its how many players got there main break - Think about how Ayshford came into our side, ousted an injured Dean Collis, and then played like his was playing for his dinner... (Wish he'd find some of that right now) and Collis couldn't make it back.

Its a subtle dig at Sheens.
Just cause these guys turn pro, doesnt mean all that matters is the paycheck, they still want to play.
It must be demoralising sitting there watching, doing nothing

Have to agree with that ink. although i don't rate Meaney as a first grader i do feel sorry for him, Sheens is just screwing with that kid . Must be so embarrassing sitting on the bench the whole game and not getting on.. Wonder what Meaney"s parents think of Sheens. Bloody Discusting what Sheens is doing to him …

And what happens if you don't pick up an injury? its like in it cricket when a ball beats the bat and keeper and goes for four. That happens every now and then, but does that mean you put a fielder directly behind the keeper as cover? No because thats a wasted fielding postition, so if it happens its just tough luck. Same thing in footy, if you get an injury in the backline all its takes is what they call a reshuffle. Picking wingers for the sole purpose of covering injuries is stupid

Utai is ther perfect utility back.

Nugget of doom can schlep it in the forwards as well.

Maybe those guys who we seem to think just sit on the bench and do nothing cant crack it for a better go because of some other reason. Bad Attitude, wont attend club events or sponsor events, late to training, disrupting other players, the list goes on.

There is more to footy than just being a player. Im not sure any coach, even Sheens (for those that dont like him) would keep talent on the bench. It ruins the players career, as well as his own!

brown has done what most do when they leave us….nsw cup with a occasional nrl game.

So they just stagnate while here?
dont improve.
Doesnt say much for the coaching

Im sorry, but he's a fraud - most of the tries he's scored have been falling over the tryline from a couple of metres out, and he has done NOTHING else of note….. yet.
