Moltzen doesn't even run the ball back hard at kick returns, and sometimes passes the ball to the winger in a worse position. When Moltzen is fullback we lose valuable meters most sets of six because of this!

No doubt needs development, expect him to fix these flaws and come back next year Moltzen 2.0
Keep Benji happy & keep a fan favorite.
Interesting stuff.

The tide is turning. Soon enough you'll all be on the bandwagon.

Moltz = good times.

 I reckon Moltzen is great too - but not at fullback.
Eventually Lui will bumble even more than he does now or miss one too many important tackles and Moltzen will be back at half.
Brown has the goods for fullback.

Keeo Brown & Moltzen as someone said Moltzen @ fullback in attack & Brown @ fullback in defence as the dogs do with Barba & Turner, also wouldnt surprise me if Utai moves on next year for more money.

Or Lui will realise its time to over-rule Robbie & Marshall and stamp his authority on this team….

From what I can see, Moltzen is either our long term Fullback as spoken by the Supercoach, Super-Sub or playing at Redfern next year...

Brown will be the back-up with Meaney...

Can't see him over-ruling either Watto - one is captain and other is emperor.
Seriously I am a critic of Lui for other aspects of his game but it most probably doesn't help him having to worry about bruising some big egos that obviously have a big say in team selections.
Latest reports say Souths now looking within for their next half.

I don't think that Lui's poor form has anything to do with him not wanting to overrule Robbie and Benji. That to me is no excuse.

On topic Brown deserves a spot in the team but I am unsure where when we are at full strength especially if Moltzen learns how to play fullback and Lui gets his act together.

If Lui continues playing as he has it is a simple decision. If Moltzen gets a good crack at the fullback spot and doesn't come good it is also an easy decision. Otherwise I'd put him on the wing. He is safe, runs it back hard and can score a try.

You misunderstand…. I like moltzen always have!
He just isn't a fullback or centre.
He doesn't run to or through the line which he needs to in both those positions.
He doesn't attack the ball when it's in the air or on the ground.
He doesn't defend well enough as last line of defense.
He is a half pure and simple!!!
And I'd rather have lui or miller partner Marshall.

Yeah pre season half the forum wanted Moltz @ 7
He is generally well liked from what I've read, a part from the select few that think he is a princess.
So yeah, he is a fan favorite… what of it ?

I guess we are going to have to agree to disagree then.

Because from what Ive read lately he isnt well liked, mainly due to the fact he cant play fullback….yet!

So how long do you persevere with him 5 games , 10 games a season. Where do you draw the line . Personally he won't learn anything in NSW cup as the standard is no where near NRL standard .

I don't think he is well liked either. I think he is the new Fitzy.

After today he can go. Ive been a big fan of his since he was at Cronulla, but the way he laid down against Gasnier today has proven to me he's a depth player and nothing more.

If Brown laid down Moltzen dug a hole that by fulltime reached china Brown last year was a gun at fullback and everything this year has shown he still is.Today included. The only people who dont like brown on this forum seem to be moltzens cousins and kul who is moltzens illegitimate lovechild.

MM, i like Brown mate, go back 2 years and read all my support of the guy. At halftime, any coach worth his salt would have moved Brown to fullback and Moltzen to centre.

Now Moltzen has no physical presence, but he at least he reads defence better in the centres than Brown, and Brown is a batter fullback…..........but the coach didnt make the call and it cost us
