**Brown to join Ennis at Sharks**

Canterbury winger Mitch Brown will join his Bulldogs teammate Michael Ennis at Cronulla next NRL season after agreeing to a two-year deal with the Sharks.

A Sharks junior, Brown, 26, will add much-needed depth to club's outside backs.

The 121-game veteran began his career with Cronulla in 2006 and spent four seasons there before moving on to the Wests Tigers for three seasons and then to the Dogs in 2013.

Brown has played mostly as a winger at the Dogs but can also cover centre and fullback.

He joins No.9 Ennis next year, the Canterbury skipper signing a two-year deal with Cronulla two months ago.

Brown has played 18 matches for the Dogs this year and has been named on the wing for the crucial round-23 match against Parramatta at ANZ Stadium on Friday.

Back to where it all began for Mitch and of course hooking up with a host of ex-Tigers team mates. Bit surprised at this move - I thought he was happy at the Bulldogs, but maybe all is not well there.

Perhaps Cronulla offered overs and/or Des doesn't want him anymore?

The thing is right now he'd be a walk up for the sharks first grade side. And all he'd be looking for in his career is consistant first grade I'd think.

Plus it would be decent money.

Still lives in the shire and mates with a lot of the sharks players. Loved his time at the dogs but wants to play center and saw more of an opportunity at cronulla. Titans and raiders threw better money at him but he didn't want to leave Sydney.

.Does that open up an opportunity to sign Ricky Leutele ??

Good player in the future in my opinion

He would walk into our team and be so much better than a couple of outside backs we have at present. Anyway good move for Mitch, the Sharks once they put the ASADA thing behind them could really turn things around in 2015.

Mitch Brown is old news.
He's OK but nothing special as everyone has said at some point.
Can cover all back line positions but isn't really.. that good.

He used to be consistently just above average and he's replaced that with inconsistency. Most of the time he is now below average but he has bursts of brilliance. Weird development in his career tbh.

Mitch Brown will be a huge signing for the sharks as they drive towards the 2015 spoon

the sharks will get better value from Mitch Brown than they have from Blake Ayshford.
good on Mitch for looking after his best interests.
