Had a little laugh when I read that Kelly Egan was the one doing all the talking to Isaac Moses.

Rothfield has been on and on about how Cleary hasn't commented about releasing Moses and going back on a statement that Saturday would be "his last Tigers training session".

When I asked if Cleary had actually confirmed anything, all he would reply was "Cleary not answering his phone or replying text messages says it all".

Cleary is obviously just concentrating on coaching and letting the football general manager - manage.

So Slothfield reckons if people don't respond to his phone calls, they are essentially admitting guilt? Wow just when I thought I loathed the guy a lot, he manages to incite me further.

FWIW

There used to be a clause in this game called the June 30 clause which stated, very clearly in big bold letters that were easy for managers and clubs to read, that contracts were unable to negotiate a contract until after June 30 in the final year of the playing contract.

Not the worst article but are his editors even doing their job? How many times you want to use the word "contract" in a sentence that doesn't even read properly?

He was never supposed to be going this season. And was told as much. The fact he's mentally not here just shows how much of a petulant, immature, unprofessional, childish spoiled little brat he is.

Reserve grade would seriously be the best thing for him. As well as a slap in the face.

Peter Sterling has taken aim at Parramatta recruit Mitchell Moses for his performance for Wests Tigers at the weekend.

Moses was disappointing as his Tigers fell to South Sydney on Friday night, and now there’s speculation he will be released to join the Eels this week.

But that didn’t stop Sterling from issuing a backhander to the young playmaker when speaking on Triple M’s Dead Set Legends program.
“Well if he doesn’t get it in time (a release from his contract) to join Parramatta it’s so important that he comes up with a good performance on Friday night against the Brisbane Broncos after what he produced last week,” Sterling said.

“It looked that way (like he was sulking).

“Once you cross that white line you’re a first grade player and your reputation is on the line and he dented it last week.”

I recall when Moses extended his contract last year and didn't accept the Rooster offer his Manager said I want to leave him at WT for another year of development.

This has proven to be true in retrospect so I am all sticking him in ISP this year and bugger the cost cause if we don't teach these "kids" a lesson now we will pay for it every year onwards
