What did we get in return?

Hopefully 16 players that will be trying 100% and one that is a maybe.

I'm hearing Woods and Tedesco now want out before 30 June

From where..?

The Cleary texts that were mentioned on NRL 360\. Paul Kent said Cleary text that Woods and Tedesco were happy at the Wests Tigers but Woods confirmed that he wasn't happy.

Everything up to now has shown that they are "all for one, one for all"

I wonder if the official club confirmation of the release will include the usual "thanks for playing for us, best of luck" line they included in the Woods and Tedesco ones. I assume so, but I hope not…

I would love to let all 3 go now, but i dont see how its possible. There would have to be a hell of a lot of wheeling and dealing to ensure we remained competitive on 2017 by ensuring we got replacements from Roosters and Dogs.

Roosters and Dogs would need to give us 2 players each for the price of Teddy and Woods. I would happily give them Woods now for Eastwood and Tolman. I think having those 2 for one Woods strengthens us. Tolamn plays big minutes and works hard. Would be an ideal 13 if Elijah did in fact leave.

Not sure who the Roosters could give us. Watson is an obvious one but os a fraction of Teddy's price.

No probs. Tedesco for Latrell and Sharon for Graham.

I feel sorry for the Eels!

I don't. Stuff the Eels.

They'd already signed the player before his contract was taken off the table, and then tried to bully us into releasing moses sooner….I wouldn't be suprised if they were helping the agent expedite things by talking about player welfare. It's the sort of thing they'd do in my opinion.

Mitchell Moses’s agent complains to NRL about his welfare at Wests Tigers

HE manager of Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses has complained to the NRL and the Players Association about his treatment at the Wests Tigers and overall welfare.
Moses was not supposed to play for the Wests Tigers against South Sydney on Friday night, which probably explains why he had such an embarrassing shocker. He missed seven tackles and didn’t run the football once.

At training last weekend, coach Ivan Cleary told him: “This will be your last session.”

That he would be free to join the Parramatta Eels.

Moses rang his manager Isaac Moses to tell him what was said but a few days later still nothing had happened.

So Isaac Moses, his manager, fired off an email to the Wests Tigers and copied in the Players Association and the NRL. It had, according to the player agent, become a welfare issue. The kid was mess. He didn’t know if he was coming or going.

We tried to speak to Cleary about this situation. He wouldn’t speak on the phone but exchanged a few texts.

Buzz: I need to speak to you about Mitchell Moses please.

Cleary: Sorry mate but no comment.

Buzz: Did you tell him last Saturday it was his last training session?

There was no reply.

Cleary, for all his results at the Panthers and Warriors, is not renowned for dealing with delicate issues and dramas.

At least at Penrith he had Gus Gould to step in and help. At the Wests Tigers there is no one.

Players’ union boss Ian Prendergast said he would speak with the Wests Tigers’ management this week to try to resolve the problems.
