why is everyone so emotional?

it's like watching ACA and complaining about tracy grimshaw…..

This is a good point. I don't watch this crap and I haven't for years. A lot of the Foxtel commentators and all of the DT commentators are even below ACA/60 minutes level.

I wonder who is buying their crap.

I don't get it either. People get all up in arms about the opinions of nobodies. Just stop reading / quoting the DT or NRL 360 if you can't handle what they say. They are just generating content.

There's a reason I got rid of my Foxtel a few years ago - because there's tonnes of content and minimal quality. Watching Game of Thrones, Australian tour of India and the NRL does not justify $79 per month. I'd pay for HD NRL channel if they offered just that, but they don't, so I pulled the whole thing and got NRL Live pass.

NRL 360 is just a symptom of the broader Foxtel idea, and media in general - make people react. Don't just deliver news, get people riled up.

So if you don't like being riled up, don't watch it. Totally easy. Being on the forum is different because you are debating/discussing with interactive people equal to yourself, it's not a one-sided information delivery service.

The problem is he's not trying to "rile up" anyone, his opinions are actually what he thinks (as unbelievable as they are). Unfortunately there are limited sources of information from the NRL that people can draw opinions from, and weeds like Benny can really skew peoples views on these kinds of situations. Because we're a little more educated on here than the average punter we can see through his crap, but people who haven't really stayed up to date on every story could look at that and actually believe him. That's what annoys me.. And Ikin and Kent don't offer a lot in the form of an opposing opinion, even though they could've completely dismantled him.

without any bias how do you think he will go Saturday against the Raiders? He won't have a recognised half either.

Probably hit and miss but I think he'd do a lot better than his last game with us. Unfortunately I think we're kidding ourselves if we think he won't be a great player.. Pains me to say it but he'll probably be one of the best in the NRL at some point (if his ego doesn't get in the way). We can only hope not, but the way his performances were building towards the end of last year makes me think he is nowhere near his peak. With the extra positivity coming from the recent move and a "point to prove" he could even end up playing quite well for the remainder of the season.

I will give both sides..

Moses will carve up the Raiders with 10 TRY assists and 4 tries he is a SUPERSTAR who wears the No.6 jumper and touches the ball more than any other player…B. Elias

Moses will get pummelled miss 14 tackles and run for 6m with 4 kicks out on the full give away 5 7 tackle sets with kicks dead Josh Papalii will end up with 270 fantasy points....Every Wests Tigers fan..

Much as I'm ecstatic that hes no longer here, I hope he can grow out of his major superiority
Complex, and actually learn from Parra.
They've already made the point that they'l make sure their second rowers will be helping him in defence.
Something that we couldnt do,as we had Two to cover.
He can either drop the Princess persona or start learning the game, its up to him from here on in

I started watching NRL 360 mainly because I got sick and tired of that circus called The Footy Show, and the fact that I thought the show was transparent and informative (the jury is still out). Benny Elias was itching to spew forth his 1 sided rubbish as soon as Ikin let him off the leash, but he shut him down pretty quick when he mentioned Ivan was sacked from his last job.

I think Ivan's interview yesterday ruffled a few feathers, certainly wound "backdoor" up a bit

what ivan interview? where can i see it?

it stops playing around the 4 minute mark…
but i loved it so far!

This makes me feel sick.

As quoted by Brad Arthur in the SMH - "He seems excited - full of energy. I think he's looking forward to having no pressure on him and just taking control of the team."
