Every other single fan online is also hating how protected LM is

My thought on it is, that they r trying to not induce anything to harsh to avoid throwing themselves into hot water because of the whole BLM movement happening around the world atm....

What I cant believe is how some folks reckon the BJ hit was worse than Latrell, reading that twitter feed. At best Latrell's is equivalent IMO. Some folks seem to reckon it's ok to lose your mind so long as you do it "quickly enough". It's not just temporal, it's the fact that nobody would assert the Reynolds kick was intentional to hurt and everyone could see Graham run in from an offside position, so it's his own stupid fault.

However it tells you everything you need to know about rugba league, there will never ever be compelte agreement on contentious issues and it's pointless to get all upset when a decision doesn't go the way you think it should. Because there will be a large contingent of folks who think the exact opposite to you.

What I cant understand is Souths got the penalty when the first infringement was when the offside player touched the ball. Then the Reynolds incident, then Latrells swinging arm to the head of Reynolds. In the Parramatta game, Mahoney had a try disallowed when someone walked through the ruck. The Referee stated he had to penalise the first offence. What was the difference?

This is the problem, inconsistency every time and rule interpretations are usually tailored to favour certain teams all the time.

No matter what ridiculous argument Annesley sprukes he has not addressed the issue of - in what possible universe could what JR did and what LM did possibly carry the same punishment? The former was an accident, clearly unintentional and in the process of playing the game, and the latter was a malicious swinging arm to the face from behind with full intent to hurt a player off the ball. If LM had done this anywhere off the footy field he would probably be locked up and facing criminal charges! This incident has really pee’d me off

The worst part is annesley even mentioned that one of the deciding factors was that latrell arm came in as a striking motion so would't that usually mean it should be a worse charge. Even the journos were like that doesn't make sense that he would get less time

Really irks me when anyone plays grubby like this. Imagine what Justin Hodges would be like if there was a no punch rule back when he played.

I guess he can sleep easy at night knowing he's one of the biggest frauds in the game and gets paid well for the honor....

He probably feels most relieved when he can actually come out and say "yeah we messed up that one" despite the fact it costs a team a try/game/grand final.....then the argument of it all evens out through the course of the year gets rolled out....

Spot on....one is a thug act and the other is defending his teammate....what a spin!!!!

If either of them were on the street they would've both been locked up.....but Mitchell's is the true meaning of coward punch because reynolds wasn't even facing the same way
