peachey is a star who is criminally under used at penrith. interestingly ivan brought him to penrith

not sold on latu, im fairly comfortable with our prop rotation if we hold onto eisenhuth

i think ur faith in eisenhuth is way of the mark, also other people say twal will do them, well if we end up with just these blokes all the good signings will be for nothing we need hard nosed players not rookies. they will have a place to play but not as starting players or on the bench as regulars.

I don't care about who signed to come or who's already here, unless the signing is better than what we have. He is welcome to reserve grade, until he's the best choice

Peachey only extended for 2 years in October of last year .
Seems odd that only halfway thru the following season there'd be an article about him wanting to leave .

iam with you…both these players look they may have something to offer, but they are fringe FGraders at very best. If we want to be a top 5 side we need to have some real class in the forwards, especially back row. We have recruited better than I expected but we are at least a real class back rower short and another strong front rower. Twal and Eisnenhuth will get plenty of chances over the length of a long season and in maybe two seasons will be top notch players, but at present they are just goers

I think both would add quality to what we already have and have signed for next season…. But i have my doubts about the validity of this story and as to whether we are even in the frame, time will tell obviously.

I don't watch Penrith much but surely Latu would be a better option than at least 4 guys we've used in first grade this year (take your pick - Felise, Sue, Lovett, Edwards, Grant and Eisenhuth and Twal are unproven)

Peacchey is a very good player that can pull a rabbit out of hat by playing off the cuff style football, but I think we need a big tall class backrower who plays a more traditional style of game, but if he gets a release he is more than welcome to jump on the bus

Where are the big class backrowers beating down the doors of Camp Conrord to jump on the bus….All the top quality backrowers are already signed by there current Clubs...

Peachey would be a good with Panthers picking up some of the freight ...but he's not a barnstorming backrower people are hoping will fall off the backrower tree into our lap...

Latu started boom out of the gates but hasn't maintained the rage..again a good pick up for a fair price...

Both have some ability, but are not great players. Peachey is a utility and not sure he would be a top liner as either back rower or centre.
Why look for players from under performing sides rather than those from a top side.
Next it will be suggested that a half from the dogs will turn our team around

Wow I think you are drastically underestimating Peachey there…

Yeah last year he absolutely owned the centre jersey before whare's return this year

Wanted Peachey when he left the sharks and nothing has changed. As for Latu, yes at the right price.

Wasn't it cleary who signed Peachey for Penrith? So we know he is already a fan.

Would be happy with Peachey but I doubt it will happen. Sharks are still after a centre to replace Leutele for 2018 so if Peachey were granted a release I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up back at the Sharks.

We have plenty of one eyed fans that I applaud for only watching Tigers games. Seriously both these players start for the Tigers and we won't sign anyone better.
I couldn't disagree more on Peachey he is a gun and Latu would add grunt and ball playing at the lock position.
It's not going to happen but Peachey at left centre, McQueen left edge 2nd row with Suli outside would be awesome. Latu in the middle with Mats and Packer would bash teams. ET on the right with Milne and Nofa would round out the team.

The thing about Peachy is, what is he? A backrower? A centre? A bench hooker? A utility? A fullback?
He's difficult to pin a position on him because he's at his best when allowed to roam and pop up anywhere and play ad-lib football.

He's all of those and master of none.

Peachey is a machine a real footballer. I'd take him in a heart beat on an edge he'd be our best centre, edge backrowrer and could cover hooker so that we didn't carry two hookers into games hurting our go forward.
