Moltzen back to Fullback

I wouldn't be putting Moltzen back there now.
For those who think he should make more decisions in attack - wake up!
Do you think Marshall would give up the playmaking role even if Cronk was half?
I like Humble's involvement but not sure fullback is his best position.
I can forgive him his error but if Moltzen had have dropped that ball half this forum would have wanted him run out of town.
Even so , if it is in the best interests of the team maybe Sheens will swap them - even though he has said he won't move Moltzen he did plenty of times last year.
For those broken hearted Lui lovers who still think we would have been better off with him still here - have a close look at Moltzens defence the last 2 games.
We would have had another half dozen tries against us if you swapped the 2 players.
I think Humble will also handle it in defence if put there.
Now it's up to the coach (and maybe injuries) to decide the matter.

even with lui gone you still can't stop using him when trying to defend the play of moltzen.
even funnier is that you would bash lui for going missing in attack.
but now moltzen is half, benji won't let him make more decisions in attack.

classic ck.

We should have just let him go to Illawarra. If he wasn't best buddies with Benji, it would have happened and he would probably be a better player for it

Bon - only mentioned Lui because he has been bought up earlier in this thread.
To be fair my criticism of Lui has always been based on his defence.
I have reatedly said he has got talent - but his defence is non - existent.
IMO he's also slow.
Let's wait and see how things pan out later in the year.

Sorry to report that I am …....hopefully don't take myself that seriously, just enjoy taking the pi.. and protecting and advancing the status of the great man, Shane Keith Warne !!

Last year we struggled for a long time and it happened to be at the same time Farah was having major problems with his groin and was playing well below his best. This year seems to have started the same, Farah coming of surgery looks well off the pace and so dose the team. One thing I noticed in the Penrith game yesterday was the speed they were getting out of dummy half. Its a very simple game that is controlled by the nine and seven with further input from the six and one. At present the six is firing and the others are below par. No doubt Farah will get better in the next month but at present I say it again he is off the pace and that is not helping Moltzen at all in his quest to nail the no7 job

I would say keep it the way it is. Let Humble and Moltz get comfortable where they are. Worst case scenario, I'd have Moltzen back at fullback and give Miller a go in the 7 jumper, but only if things haven't improved by round 6 or 7 - A worst case

I often think Marshall would be a good fullback - and your list is a better structure for the team.
Kicking half , running 5/8 .
Only thing is Marshall wouldn't be in it - would see himself too far removed from making attacking decisions.
Personally think it would give him some extra time to select his options - we know what happens when he has brain explosions

week 3 lads….

lets stick with it.

No one will be complaining if we roll the dragons. -

as tiger99, and smoking gun have said - let it run its course...
