Interesting thought… How easy it could of been?!

Has anyone asked Timmy Choo Shoes why he let go of Inu? I have a feeling he was thinking too hard. 'I better not hold this bloke or I'll give away a penalty', or 'Ill let someone else go marker and I'll scramble in defence' or 'what would Col do?... shit too late'

Let it go... The amount of work Moltzen did off the ball in that last 20 minutes was a bloody good effort.

In the end, the whole team lost!!!
 
I believe moltzen is a much better half than fullback. While his attack from fullback is outstanding, he's inability to attack the ball in defense worrys me.

If you recall before his knee injury he was excelling in the halves and with the players we have fighting it out for outside back positions I have no doubt he'll be playing 7.

In the end moltzen has proven himself a top quality player when he gets the chance to concentrate on one position, and given the chance to get comfortable there.

He is not a bench utility!!! He starts in a specialist role or he doesn't play. That's my opinion

it still doesnt ake up for the team letting the Warriors back in the game. They were winning and the team as a WHOLE let the warriors back in.. Dont blame one player for something that the Tigers should never have let them selves get a position to be under pressure. Its easy for you to have a go at a player whilst you are sitting in your chair having a coldy. After the game he was the most inconsolable player out of any of the team… you think he just thought, nah stuff it.. cant be bothered tackling?

I agree, the whole team was at fault. We need to learn how to finish teams off rather than just pip them at the post or vice versa.

Back to Moltzen, he just gave up a massive contract with the Dragons to stay a Tiger, loyalty over money....most fans/teams would kill for a player like that wouldn't they? Lets get behind him hey!!

couldnt agree more.

Once Moltzen was left in the same spot for any length of time he excelled, he was good from rnd 22 onwards and fantastic from rnd 25\. Doesn't matter what he does he cops it from blokes on here.

Simon Dwyer early last year copped unfair criticism as well. I remember the friday night game he got MOM, think he made 4 line breaks score 2 tries and set up another, made 30 tackles with a dozen or so runs and about 5 offloads or something ridiculous, in an 80 min game from a 20 yo, and someone said if he played like that every week they'd be SATISFIED. He eventually one the critics over, hopefully Moltz can do the same.

He took a pay cut, lost the certainty of 2 further seasons of very good wages. Because he wanted to stay where he is, I would say that is clear loyalty. There is no other explanation.

Singing on the dotted line with the dragons is not being loyal to the tigers.changing his mind and staying with the tigers is not being loyal either. He wants to run with the hare and hunt with the hounds… :blush:
 
Ok, since euphemisms are being thrown around willy-nilly… Let's not forget he was told to walk the plank, another passing pirate ship was courteous enough to offer him a ride, with an offer of more treasure than he was currently in line for.. then the captain/s of the ship (whomever that may be:-Sheens,Humphreys,Benji,Robbie rah rah rah) had a change of heart and invited him back onboard with the promise of exciting adventures on the wild seas and regular meals(picked in the 13). He must of thought to himself, well i know the Captains of this ship pretty well. They are stand-up men who I have fought many battles with (good mates) and they do have a secret treasure map (a real chance at glory), not to mention one of the most infamous pirates ever to sail the seven seas (Benji)..but those other pirates...Well i'm not so sure about them, they might be altogether nasty and throw me out in the longboat and feed me scraps (play him irregularly).

He will still be the wipping boy next year - whilst he may have played ok for a couple of games late in the season I am still to be convinced he can turn up week in and week out and out his body on the line.
 
Moltz will kill it.

A full year after his major injury, time in the No 1, and knowing that he is wanted at the club.

Their are others battling for their oppurtunity at 1 or 7 next season.

Its His spot to loose.

It could be more a case of comfort zone rather than loyalty…

As for him just putting his hand on Inu, easy in hindsight when during the mayhem of the final minutes of a semi final everything happens in a split second.

Agree with rexx....but if you wanna individual to blame look at our last set of 6 and last tackle then
