Moltzen - Run straight

Not once tonight did he run forward. Every kick return he went sideways and passed (nearly lost us the game once). I was one if his biggest fans up until tonight. I'm stoked we won, but see ya Timmy, sorry your playing out of position, but even Lui is playing better than you (and that is just downright pathetic).

I was also a Moltzen fan but what I saw tonight in his inability to take the ball back despite so many chances was horrifying. He also avoided the ball from kicks a few too many times. His best feature I must admit was his one on one defence

Kick returns wernt great. But defense was straight up brilliant. Counted atleast three try savers. Lui did one good thing tonight the rest was piss weak.

Not withstanding the 2 try savers, although the second looked lucky in the end, he dogged it tonight - plain and simple. 39 metres in attack for the second week in a row. Completely unacceptable from a fullback in a winning team.

One of those try savers was a fluke. He was hopelessly out of position. He's lucky the winger caught it first and he fluked the tackle. Sorry, I have defended him to no end on these boards, but being there at the game tonight seeing him wuss out passing to Utai and Beau on every kick return, I lost a tonne of respect for him. You don't run sideways to dump your team mates into a cover defence tackle. God help the Dragons if they are short sighted enough to play him at fullback. Maybe we can sell them a ballboy who's pretending to be a halfback who doesn't know how to tackle too. Sorry for being negative but Lui and Moltzen are huuuuuuge weak links on this team right now!

In the first half when Benji made a break down the left and floated a pass back inside (when Robbie got tackled without the ball), Moltzen should have been there to take it, instead he was 5 metres behind, over ran the ball and then casually turned to lunged at the ball. He looked like he was playing a game of touch with his mates.
