IMO it would be great for Tim Moltzen to go play overseas. change of scenery might just be the catalyst for him to reach his full potential, and can do it over there.
look at the difference it made to Jamie Lyon.

You can't honestly be comparing Moltzen to Lyon. Lyon had already played for NSW and Australia by the time he went overseas. Nothing to do with finding his potential.

how's that comparing? just stating an example

Well the example doesn't make sense as the reasons that Lyon went over for and that Moltzen would be going over for are completely different.

Just quick question for anyone, Why doesn't Jamie Lyon play rep football anymore? I know there is a story behind it but I don't know it and would be interested. Thanks.

Finally, fingers crossed ,we get rid of Dickie knee {moltzan}. what a terrible player…Can't even see him getting a start in ESL to be honest. What are the Poms thinking ? !!!

You overdid it -.- He is not that bad.

haha you cannot be serious , he has to be the worst first grade player to have played in the last 10 years , if not he is certainly up there in the top 3…

Ben Pomeroy
Ben Roberts
Kris Keating

At least your top 3 play with passion and Ticker , unlike Moltzon .He's too timid for first grade , plays with too much fear..If it wasn't for Benchie Marshall he would have been punted years ago…

It's common knowledge that Moltzen has been tapped on the shoulder and told to look else where, Benchy tried to kick up a stink but his days of having a major influence at the club are well and truly over in terms of who goes and stays.

One player that I won't name is extremely happy that the so called boys club is finished as he was well and truly over it he also likes Potter a lot and is enjoying the new culture that is slowly taking shape at the club.

All players are accountable and there is no special treatment for anyone anymore including Benchy.

Now we all we need is to get rid of the dysfunctional board and become united as a club.

I used to support him but reality s his less than an average player and we have to protect our future with the juniors coming through.Bye bye Moltz

I just googled Tim Moltzens name and it says he has already signed a 2 year deal with St Helen's from 2014???

Do you have a link by any chance because I cannot find anything.

I think Moltzen still has 2 years left on his contract, more Money out the back door for a player whos not playing for us.

Just because a player is released prior to the end of their contract does not mean we have to contribute to ther wages. When will people start to understand this. It has been stated ad nauseum on this forum.

I know what you are saying, but if he doesnt ask for the release & the club wants to get rid of him him its a different matter southerntiger.

No its not. It depends upon what the club he is going to his prepared to pay him. If they pay him the same or more than the Tigers then there is no contribution by us.

A lot of factors which mean it is not safe to make assumptions.
