Moltzen

To those of you who think Benji should play fullback, how many of those bombs that Moltzen took today would Benji have taken? If you answered honestly then you can now see why Benji would not be very good at the back.
Nice game Timmy keep it up

Tried hard today and doesn't deserve to loose his place after that effort… There is still alot of things I'd like to see our Fullback do during games, but he got a pass mark today.

Teddy let in 44 points today???

You serious? You're gonna blame Teddy for all 44 points? That's hilarious. That's like blaming the goalkeeper when the defenders trip over and leave the striker one on one with goalie.

can't blame teddy for 44 points. he's not a miracle worker, didn't see the game but maybe without him it woulda been 60!

Had a very game, he threw a couple nice balls to get each of the wingers outside there man which has not been mentioned

He had a good game today. Definately did his job and was signifying around the ruck.

Clearly he is not, Greg Inglis…..nor is anyone else.

Inglis vs just about anyone is a mismatch

^ I guess I'm highlighting the benchmark of what the standard of fullbacks are these days, and how it's evolving.

Moltzen is not a fullback. Period.

Or a First Grade Footballer…

wont put his body on the line. Barber is smaller & puts his body on the line.

Barba apparently puts lines in his body from some of the "epic bender(bogan) crew" stories kicking around.

Moltz did well i thought compared to the standard he set last year. I'll take improvement any day.

Sure he could've done a few things better but so could benji & robbie with some of the options they pushed. All up he played like most of the other lads… Better, not sensational, but moving in the right direction.

Moltzen had his best game for two years but how many teams would he wear the no. 1 for? I don't like him in the 7 either so maybe his future lies somewhere between 2-5 or the 14?

No future at 7 with miller, braith (maybe) and brooks coming up. Could see him at wing but with that performance from reddy i doubt he'll get that either bar any injuries.

Probably will hold onto no. 1 until an injury requires a reshuffle for teddy to come up. Or if he performs EXTREMELY badly.

Passed it off from the field of play to a guy who was a couple of metres within the in-goal. Unbelievable.

That was absolutely ridiculous. Apart from that he had a go and played reasonably well.

Funny though that when he catches a few bombs everyone says he played really well. Shows how low his standards are.

Well it is good by Moltzen's standards HT

I think he knows now he has no choice , he has to perform week in week out

We won! Moltzen was Good under the high ball but didn't provide any drive in attack. Who should he run off? Buchy? Galls gone. Woods? - anyone remember Beetson and Russell Fairfax - what a combo for Easts. At one time I thought we had too many props Groat Woods Galet Bell Galloway Buchanan and any number of Islander big blokes. Now we're down to just Woods, Buchanan and Bell - maybe BMM is a FRF but have you seen South Sydeny's forwards - they are HUGE! We don't do HUGE at the Tigers despite introducing the biggest dude at the time in Paul Sironen fresh from trying out with Gridiron. Hope his son Curtis is fit and well enough to join the 2013 chase.

he actually has a good pass on him when he gets space (or when he wants to pass).. actually he was quite good, whenever he was given some room to move (bar kick returns)

at least he is putting his body on the line while defending.

would like to see him get more involved in attack

good defense today from moltz.. attack was as normal except a couple of good balls to the wingers.

GET MORE INVOLVED !!
