Face it guys, Moltzen is our half back for this year, baring injury. I think at seasons end we will all be hoping he stays.

Said it before and i will say it again Moltzen is not the answer at 1/2 back he will not take the line on and other teams will work this out and hammer his support. Also he is no better at defence than lui and this will also come back and bit us later in the season. I hope Iam proved wrong but I think come round 26, I will be saying told u all at the start, but good luck Tim.

Could not agree more. I said last year that he would end up costing us an important game and that is what happened.

This year will be no different. He will cost us big time. I hope I am wrong but I do not think so. Nothing good has ever come from Sheens playing his favourites.

I'm supremely confident Moltzen will be in high demand from other clubs for his services in 2013.
I think that in itself will prove his value in the halves.

ummmm have you been watching the trials? because i can remember quite a few times Tim took the line on and almost scored under posts, his speed will catch alot of teams out. and as for defense hes alot better then that other wifebasher!

and after fulltime with the result lost he made another trysaving tackle, with help from Blair, and the refs called it held up - It was a blinder

His defense is back to where it was before his knee injury - wel and truly punching above his weight, and solid.

He will take the line on - in fact one of his weaknesses I spoke about last year being his ability to butcher tries by holding onto the ball and NOT passing will actually work in conjunction with his newfound ability to pass the ball :mrgreen: to his advantage this year as he will ALWAYS have the defense in two minds - will he pass it, or will he take me on?

Then when they (moltz and marshall) both combine up the middle of the park… 😱pen_mouth: - OMG. If Tedesco is hanging around, he'll score a bag of tries in 2012.

He has been during the trials, his cut out ball is almost as good as benjis.

As long as he keeps his frequency of passing about the same as his last two games, he'll be fine.
