I was at the game yesterday,I absolutely barracked for Grub and Momo to have great games....they both have been heavily criticised in the last few weeks..both are players that give their all even though its not good enough for some..
You can see Momo has been working on his kicking technique,he has improved a lot.Dont forget he is not a seasoned NRL first grader and was thrown in the deep end for kicking..He has done fantastic in the last few games..

I am one that doesn't rate Momo, and still don't.

I have the courage to say he is a fringe first grader at best.

Credit where it is due, he has scored a few tries and kicked well vs Newcastle. But it doesn't change my mind. He is slow, defence is average, and can't run with any gusto when he is one of the back three we trying to get us out of trouble. He must weigh 80kgs ringing wet.

Anyway, unless he bumps up a bit and really plays consistently, my opinion won't change. Sorry. As I said though, credit for a few good efforts lately.

@Swordy our current centres seem to be ball playing thinking ones, not ones who will run holes and bust the line open with a fend or pace eg. Both Mbye n momo I believe Mbye should play at 6 come 2021 with a new robust centre and momo for depth or wing

Liked watching him kick...it's the first time in a long time I had confidence we were actually going to land them....despite his miss on the second one which, at the end of the day, no kicker kicks every single one....

He takes the hard runs, he seems defensively sound, good kicker, great addition to our team.

@happy_tiger He slotted one home from the exact position a kick later. Then kicked 3 more from the sideline. No point criticizing his kicking tonight, because it was wonderful.

Can't believe people are criticising his goal king tonight?! Considering we've only kicked 3 or 4 from the sideline this year, he kicked 3 tonight. We have to invest in him heavily. Hire Daryl Halligan, pay him 50k, anything to make Momo a gun goal kicker.
