More bad behaviour

There surely can not be any doubt that Ingles is one lucky man. How was he not convicted? He lied about how many drinks he had, had to be blind when he left Dubbo, and drive three hours before being caught speeding and still an incredible 0.085! Who gives a shit about character references -those people should be hauled over the coals for supporting such poor behavior -now a character reference from the girlfriend you beat up should have been one of them. If he was the nice guy they say he was he should have just copped on the chin! Who cares how much money he missed out on, who cares who your VIP friends are? Who cares how much charity work you do You can still be a nice guy who does lots of charity work without a drivers license. What a role model! Surely he gets suspended by the NRL. So

Shows as much intelligence off the field as he does on it.

Maybe he wasn’t sure how to hail the Uber

Maybe he misunderstood 'hail' and thought he had to nail the driver.

Considering the length of the journey, the amount of time since his last drink and the fact he was speeding at almost 20 km/h over the limit yes, he should have had a conviction recorded. It was Henson that sentenced him though and Inglis is who he is so the result is no great surprise…

How many times must players and teams transgress before suffering consequences fitting the crimes.

Ingles - cap rorting, hitting women, high range drink driving (**probably over 1.0 in Dubbo)**.

Sharks - Peptides, cap rorting, breaking NRL instructions, team drinking indiscretions.

Just a joke NRL management are not worth a bean,

BUT… grab the Tigers... Seriously!!!

Nah.

Both Melb and Cronulla have received sanctions for the stuff you mentioned that they were responsible for.
Are you saying Souths should cop a fine for Inglis being over the limit.

The sharks still haven't been sanctioned over their cap rorting - should be an interesting outcome.

They will get a 99% reduction for self reporting three years after the event

There is no leadership from the hierarchy. The NRL drifts from one bad headline to the next because idiots like Napa believe they can get away with this behaviour without serious repercussions. Suspend him and others for a year without pay and make them work during the suspension.

The hard questions need to be asked about these films. Why now after such a long time did they surface, conveniently after Napa departs the Roosters. Was this a coincidence or is there more to this? Until an impartial investigation is conducted the integrity of the NRL and its processes remain in question.

Your first sentence is pure truth.
No leadership at all and then just a token effort when it suits.
Greenberg the snivelling little bog has been nowhere to be seen (or heard) throughout everything that has occurred throughout the last week or 2\. Yet he was sure he was there front and centre at the Dally M's when the next batch of Immortals were announced last year….......loves getting his extremely punchable face in the limelight when it is all slaps on the back stuff, goes missing during the embarrassing/uncomfortable times when the game is in the headlines for negative reasons. Greenberg is a true grandstanding coward. Worst boss the NRL/NSWRL has ever had WITHOUT QUESTION. He is more of an embarrassment to the game than anything the players have done off the field.

Don’t worry about Greenberg. In a couple of years your other good mate Cam will be running the game, and will no doubt do a fine job.

The game will lurch from one slimy, shonky crook to another then if that be the case. No difference.
By the time Greenburg's finished with his "running" of the game in a few years there will barely be a comp left to oversee.
Hated Superleague and all it stood for back in the day but in all honesty something similar challenging the current inept set-up would be a godsend. Hope it happens.

I often wonder why it seems ok to discriminate against redheads. Especially when they are suggested to be inferior or different to the redt of us.

Replace ranga with black or muslim in those posts above and the reactions and reply's would be fierce.

Not having a go at you guys and no im not a redhead and yes i have joked around about gingers and bloodnuts and all that. But it does go to show there is very little balance with discrimination these days.

Like someone who posted earlier about Bolton. If it was reversed and a woman touched a guys thigh and he made a police complaint, he would be somewhat ridiculed for it.

Sorry but the redhead thing just always makes me think about whats considered ok and a laugh in comparison to what most consider discrimination or racism today.

It is a pity, all this PC rubbish. For me, having a joke with your mates at each other is part of Aussie culture. At school we used to have a dig at each other, always finding something to have a laugh at. Red hair, tall, short, fat, skinny… not bullying but in good humour.

Those days are long gone - its not the Australia I grew up in - where you could have a go at your mates or at the pub - sometimes it went over the top and a few fights would break out. Short stoush then back to the bar and have a laugh over a few beers. Nowadays you get knifed if you look at someone the wrong way and either called a racist, redneck or PC incorrect if you don't agree with the looney left or the fascist right. I'm too old for that crap - the sooner common sense comes back in to Australian society the better.

The problem with “common sense” is that it’s not very common.

Greenberg is suggesting a ban for dylan napa, what a absolute tool

Well Napa would have every right to sue the pants off the NRL, unless the NRL could prove that he released the video into the public domain.

And given the embarrassing content you'd wager that he had no intent to.

People need to wake up to themselves in relation to accountability of their actions / choices

You'd think after they rubbed out Carney that the players would realise they had to clean up their act. Any one this dumb deserves what they get.

Why feel sorry for Napa,
If he didn’t make the video, he’d have no problems.
He’s responsible for getting nude,
I couldn’t care less about who put it into circulation, that’s between Napa and that person
Keep it in your daks you pampered fools ,

They are all living a privileged life, and still some Cretins haven’t got the brains to know that THEY have the responsibility to protect that lifestyle, or hopefully, it will be taken out of their hands.
There’s a lot of good people who are involved in the NRL, and they don’t deserve to be lumped in with grubs like some of those who have stuffed up over the years..
I’ve got no sympathy , either for them, or some of the females who are always throwing themselves at them, and then trying to capitalise on the results, one way or another.
The sooner these people realise that if they want a great lifestyle, that some could only dream of , Then, Bloody well earn it, !!
And protect it.
Growing a brain
, may be a good start
for some,

I agree, but the punishment needs to be transparent beforehand.

You can't just escalate the punishments willy nilly.

It was consensual so tell me where he has done anything wrong?

Yes he has embarrassed him but he hasn’t assaulted anyone or broken the law.

Mmmm….. think about it
