Ferguson would fit in nicely with the complacent, carefree, zero-accountability attitude here at the Tigers.

Who do you make accountable for todays loss.

Lack of go forward up the middle, lack of aggression when defending (Ellis and Dwyer aside) and the slowest backline 1-5 in the the history of first grade football.

the coach the tactics where rubbish all we done was kick the ball away.

One gets the feeling that listening to Farah after the game, the Tigers strayed from the gameplan once again.

i wouldn't be suprised if nonu is on the cards along with blair. i dont know how we'd fit everyone under the cap, but they'd definitely compliment our squad well..

1\. Marshall
2\. Nonu
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Moltzen
7\. Lui
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Woods
11\. Blair
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Fulton
15\. Dwyer
16\. Murdoch Masila
17\. Shirnack

infact, i'd defintiely be putting a few quid on them winning the comp.

i think we did too, we generally do when we lose. but sheens does nothing about them disobeying him so they just keep doing it.

Crap kicking game No BRAINS used at all in the second half Overuse of cut out passes . We are the most skilful team in the NRL why not use those skills and create overlaps with ball through the hands instead of cutting out two and three players . Commitment was brilliant today I thought

would offer ferguson what he wanted. the guy is a natural freak and has a running style that very few players in the nrl have (similar to a young inglis). big strong, giant strides at pace. Could play fullback, wing or centre i have no doubt. Ten times better footballer than brown, ryan, utai, mckinnon, ayshford, daniella, moltzen or even TUQUIRI or any other outside back the tigers have besides lawrence.

10 times better than tuqiri. riiight :unamused: :roll

The simple things letting us down. How many kicks didn't get through the line? The Storm's two tries are perfect examples of what we should be doing when attacking opposition's line- control, then set up for angled runners, assisted by decoys. We have massive men with footwork like Dwyer, Ellis, Ayshford on the fringes but we dont give them quality ball to get then 1 on 1 with smaller defenders. Instead, we waste three plays from dummy half or one out, then go for Hail Mary plays. A smart half would tell Benji and Robbie to quit the overcalling and spur of the moment stuff, plan three plays ahead and push the forwards around accordingly. Who can do that?

Nonu is a gun, but he will be expensive and he is very old, I played against him in about 98, so he has to be at least 32, better to spend cash elsewhere, actually a pipe dream really, we wont have the money

I reckon we should sign slater or cronk…..actually both

Nonu has been a powerhouse, but he also "has been"dumped from the Hurricanes because of his attitude,& is looking for a gig.
He is about to be phased out of All Blacks after this World Cup because of his age & fading pace.
Were 3 years too late.
One thing we should have learnt by now is not to buy old outside backs/full backs living on past glories, looking for superannuation. They dont get any faster or any less injury prone
as they get older!
Now Ferguson is a different story..Id swap Ryan +Brown & throw in Daniella for him!

agree, Nonu is past it and not worth it

ferguson has loads of ability, but attitude could be an issue with him

I know ferguson has talent but geez he is a bit of a grub to boot. he is always sledging players and carries on like a bit of a primadonna. i remember early in the year when he dropped a bomb and canberra lost the game the players gave it to him deluxe and really let him know he had lost then the game. i had to laugh as he had been dishing it out all day.

As much as I cant stand Fergusson, A coach like Sheens and a culture like ours could really benefit a player with that much potential.

A culture like ours? It's not looking too flash at the moment, underdog.

Daniel Vidot is off contract with the Raiders. Plays right wing.

Only young and has speed. Maybe an option?

Really need a quality fullback along with Blair.
