More Tigers problems

and people wonder why Marty left? Wouldn't be surprised if others walk too.

Taylor needs to go and whoever jumps to his defence needs to open their eyes, he is poison, he isn't an NRL standard head coach. We have a young squad with great potential, under his coaching none of them will eventuate into the susperstars they are supposed to be.

Totally agree

Lol…not to be satisfied that this article from Buzz has been posted in 5 different threads..we'll start a new one...

Not one direct qoute from a player...if it is so damning...what are they waiting for Buzz...?

I think everyone should reserve judgement until they finalise this as it is probably slanderous.
It was originally reported on by the SMH and then the DT. Usually when both papers report on issues there is something to it. Buzz has an agenda against WT management who are easy targets due to their incompetency.

Yep, an independent report written by Farah's lawyer.

The report loses credibility the second it was leaked to Buzz.

Yes, because these problems didn't exist before JT got here. Obviously JT made the club like this. Quit trying to be so hard hitting, you always try to come off sounding like a journo writing a dirt piece.

Had to laugh when the legal eagle asked about no breach notices being given. Clubs only do it when they really want a player sacked. Wests Tigers have said from day one that they will honour Robbie's contract but their view is he should look elsewhere.

It's the same dirty tactics that Farah's manager tried with the "let's have a face to face meeting" to find out about what's been said about Robbie. It's a ruse to make it look bad from the clubs side.

All this talk about a mans game but when it comes down to it, they all play childish games to get what they want.

Bite the bullet and pay him out. Be done with it or it will troll on for 2 more years. I don't want another coach and the same rubbish for another 2 years - sick of it. Taylor's not the villain here nor is Farah the victim.

Very poor of the NRLPA to commission farahs lawyer to do the report. How could anyone take it seriously? Surely the NRL would look into this use of the associations money.

So the NRLPA looking after its members' rights and conditions is poor?

It is long overdue that if behaviour or threats to those rights and conditions have been made then those responsible should be held to account.

So you think using Farah's Lawyer to do the report makes sense?

I want to hear the spin on this from the Taylor supporters.

Why? You've obviously made your mind up and there are so many posts on here about JT are you confused about something?

My experience is that unions are not fair at all to employers.

Abusing players rights… LOL

Players under contract have long been told by clubs they're surplus to requirements and been moved on. Farah is the only one that I can remember in a long time to have dug his heels in. He's relying on the media to bolster his support via fan power. He's hoping that a fan revolt will force the club to back down. If this club has truly moved into a new era on an administrative front, they'll stick to their guns no matter how many fans ring up and write in threatening to chop up their memberships.

If the club was truly serious and had the capital, they'd sack Taylor as well and make a tilt for Cleary.

My experience with employers is 180 degrees about "fairness"

Unions alongside two major consumers are largely behind the ruin of my industry. They forced two major leading companies into the can from demanding overly generous working conditions.

I do not think the club will cave in on this. Either Farah and Taylor will need to come to some sort of accommodation or Robbie will be spending a lot of time on the bench. The Board will not sack Taylor this early into his tenure - and nor should they. They signed him to do a job, and until such time as he has failed to meet his KPIs within the time frame given, then he should be supported. If or when he falls below the KPI's then the club may take action on the coaching front. In the meantime, Robbie needs to realise the PR campaign being waged by his manager, although perhaps winning some minds and hearts from the fan base, will not be scoring too many points with the powers within the club. Every leak, every rumour and every tactical manipulation by his manager and cronies will be well noted by the CEO and Board.
For the love of God, Robbie, shut up and get on with the training and business of playing football, or move on!

There is also the fact that Suemanufagai Simona Lovett Naiqama and most recently Halatau re-signed plus a bunch of other players looking for a shot at FG signed for that opportunity makes me wonder who was actually questioned in this 'independent' report commissioned by the RLPA carried out by Robbies Lawyer…something does not add up...

I would think that Halatau being a player welfare ambassador would have been the 1st one questioned....yet he was keen to stay...then again it did say 85%

Geezus this is becoming like a bloody soap opera - she said this, no he said that.

All this publicity is not good for the club, players, fans and sponsors, who would want to invest money in this rabble of a club.

Whatever the solution to this mess is, it had better happen soon otherwise the place will implode.

The problems were never this bad, we were never in the media for poor welfare allegations. Yes we constntly had player fallouts with the coach, i am not defending Farah, he is continously in the media for the wrong reason but when you have 85% of your team saying that they aren't be treated appropriately something is wrong. When this is being leaked in the media..something is very wrong.

What poor welfare? So far I've heard of one player being asked to leave 2 years into a four year contract and a second rower being asked to play in the halves in State Cup. Clue us in on what these alleged atrocities are instead of parroting whatever is in the Terrorgraph.

You have to wonder why the RLPA is "commissioning" (I.e. paying for) an "independent" report from someone who does not appear independent at all. If you want those kinds of reports to appear impartial you don't get the from someone who is representing a player involved in a spat with the club. Also, if the RLPA paid for the report then that's who should receive it, not the media via some choice quotes kicking the club.
