Morris/Collis in Sharks colours

Have to say the trial tonight was played in appalling conditions but Morris and Collis did very little in their debuts in Sharks colours. Collis saw the ball once in 40 minutes with all of the Sharks attack going down Pommeroys side. Morris was once again inadequate in the halves and will no doubt be battling it out for the hooker spot with Aiton.

The highlight of the night was a stink between Jason King and Kane Snowden with King coming off the worse for wear. Snowden would be a great buy if he is coming off contract anytime soon and was best on ground for the Sharks

Manly won 18-4 and once again the Sharks attack looked very ordinary while Manly look like they could struggle in the halves without Orford. Glenn Stewart played a blinder and will need to be watched very closely in Round 1\. He managed to offload at will which is saying something when the game was played in torrential conditions.

Can't wait for RD 1 and good start for the boys in Nth Qld tonight

The sharks side isn't THAT bad

1\. Nathan Stapleton
2\. Luke Covell
3\. Ben Pomeroy
4\. Dean Collis
5\. Isaac Gordon
6\. Trent Barrett
7\. John Morris
8\. Kade Snowden
9\. Stuart Flanagan
10\. Luke Douglas
11\. Reece Williams
12\. Grant Millington
13\. Jayson Bukuya

Morris would be much suited a halfback with Barrett outside him ala Tim Smith at Parra 05
They are missing a few big names from that list too

Scott Porter will definitely be picked in the halves ahead of Morris. Morris best chance is at hooker or off the bench.

Not a bad side but not going to make a huge dent in this comp until they can score some more points thats why the Tigers have a field day everytime we play them as we know we can outscore them

J Mo in 7…......

Well .........and some want Sticky to coach us............

Injuries continue to plague the kid…..sadly might have been wise not re-signing him.Lovely bloke hope he turns the corner.

If that's their strongest 13 then they will probably get the spoon. Not bad props though.
