After watching the Holden cup today one thing stood out get Moses out of there and into the Premier league side as soon as possible ,I don,t think he is ready for the NRL yet but playing with that lot is doing nothing for his progression .

Didnt see the game but it sounded ugly against a poor team too.

Good point mate… One thing I noticed today is he does not lack confidence. He was punching on with biggest guy in titan team and has lots of talk. They should move him and the 9 up soon..

This is what I don't understand, I would have thought for sure he would have been on the same development path as Luke Brooks, just a little bit behind. So why isnt he in NSW Cup? It seems fairly certain that he is looked at as being a big part of our future, surely State Cup is more beneficial to him than U20s

I think because he is still small in frame man.. he had a few leg injuries so might be behind brooks in having a body that can withstand nrl.. he was even getting injured in NYC last year. So I think he just needs to get bigger.

Agree with everyone. Get him out of NYC asap. Should be playing fullback ahead of Curtis Rowe. Cannot be any worse than Rowe in defence & is much better in attack. Great talker & schemer & very quick. Give him a go even if it may be sooner than expected.

Good enough for u20s State of Origin, good enough for nrl. Play him at 5/8, Austin utility on bench, Anasta gone. I know it's a step up from 20s but every game i've seen him play, he has killed it. Rowe may get more confidence playing with him as well.

I'd like to see this even more than Moses at fullback. I haven't seen much of Moses but he looks quality. I say give him a go now.

He needs to go up to nsw cup,but fighting 1 kid with 5 of his friends aint punching on littletiger!! And I seen the Titans boy after the game talking to some of our Tigers boys having a laugh..Moses is far off NRL IMO though..

Moses is nowhere near ready for first grade in the halves, and people are saying to put him in NRL in a different position? Some people on here have no clue about the game :bash

If you know so much about the game Alex you would know Moses has played quite a few games at fullback although 5/8 is his best position. Probably not ideal rushing him into first grade but everyone entitled to their opinions just as you are champ.

best i heard was to put austin a fullback :roll

i mean hey, im not the most experienced or knowledgeable league guru out theere but that's just plain silly.

moses at FB COULD potentially work in the long term, if he worked his way up over the next 18months playing there. but that would only be considered if tedesco were to leave.

You would have to think the club sees him as the future no 6\. with anasta leaving next year the only two players that can play 6 are Moses and Austin. So with current stock players it will be Blake or Moses next year depending on form and injuries.

Of course they see him as the future No. 6 that's why his getting a truck load of money.
Nofoaluma and Sirro went straight from 20's to NRL without playing NSW cup and I can see Mitch doing the same.
But a couple of runs in second grade before making the step up wouldn't hurt.

What's the rush, why should they push him into the top grade before his body is ready for the rigours of It. Give him a few years to develop and then he has less chance of coming in, getting a serious injury and being out for a year.

Bah! Fans hat save 'give him a couple of years to develop' just blow my mind in. People said that for Brooks. They would play in in NSW Cup for the entire season this year to help him develop. He doesn't need it!! Moses is of a slighter build but in the end the best players don't need that time toiling in the lower grades.

There have been many players smaller than Moses who have played first grade. Rowe is actually smaller than Moses, and i don't here people crucifying him about his size (his skills yes). Rowe is shorter and stockier than Moses but Moses has a larger frame and they weigh the same amount now.

Elite young players make the step up and yes, like many young players they will struggle in defence for the first year or two of their career. You don't think Benji was 90kg when he debuted do you?

Fact is Moses should be our fullback v the Roosters. Offers so much more than Rowe and won't have too much contact not being in the defensive line so that should allow him all the time he needs to develop… He's played fullback and has a great combination with Brooks.
