Really I don't care how much he was paid..his performance was insipid whether it was $50 or $10 Million dollars bar 1/2 a dozen games in all his time here... good BYE..

Great input .....as I said earlier,we the fans have an opinion,we dont control the playing squad and positions...you have made your opinion clear ....as have I Moses was on a huge contract,Ivan chose to pay him that,Madge used him in a completely different role...doesnt mean people have to belittle the man that has reached origin level in one of the toughest comps in the world..

He didn't ever remotely come close to his price tag. His signing was like an anchor to the club, and I'm not surprised he felt like a burden. The club needs to learn from this.

He wasnt a burden at the time of recruitment when Ivan wanted him.....
The club has learnt.....thats why Hartigan and Madge dont overpay or pay huge money for players that the fans want....

That kind of stubbornness will only get the club so far. Given the position the club is in, it has no choice but to bite the bullet and pay overs for 1 or 2 quality players. They just need to be the right ones.

I agree but we will need to pay way overs unfortunately.

We've got a massive pile of money to spend for next year. We can afford to entice a player worth paying overs for.

Wow.
Could you set the bar any lower.
You must think Nofa's a defensive dynamo.

Can you say that anyone in our team's defence is sound?

But more importantly, I feel he let us down in the middle when he played hooker/lock but at centre and fullback, I felt very safe.

Need someone with an aura who still competes at the highest level. Think Beau Scott to Parra, Luke Lewis or Ennis to Sharks, Steve Price to Warriors. Then a few other no nonsense hard workers.

He will go well at the dragons in the number one or six & prove many people on this forum wrong.

Well why in the hell - didn't he do it here!!!!!!

By your comment then he must have been tanking.

Just a soft money sponge.

He was not given the opportunity here with Madge he kept on playing him in different positions & off the bench I’m pretty sure Griffin will put him in one position & that’s why he will excel there & the way Madge gave the captaincy to Tamou over Mbye was disgraceful no wonder why his heart was to play elsewhere & not at the tigers good luck to him & I for one hope he plays well he is definitely a top 17 & was not his fault that our club paid overs for him.

MBye has handled his exit with a certain amount of class however he has not been a good buy for our club.As far as losing the captaincy is concerned he deserved to because i have never seen a more inefective captain in my life.I hope he plays well for the drags except against us.

Why do we need to do this ?

Laurie, Maumalo, Doueihi, Stef, Tuilagi, Blore, Luciano have all been good signings and none of them are marquee signings.

I reckon rinse and repeat. Keep looking to get top juniors. Upgrade the right players with fair money.

It’s unfair to ask players like Stef and AD to lead a team against teams full of origin and internationals. It’s borderline negligent.

I think the youth strategy is fine but they can’t do it on their own. They need a few strong older players to complement them. Tamou was meant to be one of those players but he’s been a massive flop.

We are three top line players and a couple of battle hardened quality players short of being a good team IMO.
