I know it's only hindsight but the miss at 20-18 was a little crucial….maybe it's time for another kick off with Rankin

He fits all of the criteria to be a Wests Tigers player then.
 
MM needs to be replaced,he is not kicking confidently,he seems to be having trouble controlling and knowing the amount of draw he puts on his kicks.

There's been plenty worse than Rankin. He's not a winger but he's far from a terrible player. He'd fare a tonne better in the halves or fullback.

The 15 mins he played at fullback was enough for me to say…. he's no better at fullback than he is on the wing.

We messed up with this signing, what a mistake.
Rankin is rubbish.
 
After seeing Mitchell Moses carve the Warriors and yes he did have a good game Manly…..I sometimes get the impression that moses would be better in the side if brooks wasn't there. When both of them are playing its like one is waiting for the other.

Alone they seem to accept the challange in front of them, with much more seriousness.

Just my observation.

Yeah it is unfair, it would be like judging Lovett as a centre as opposed to…nevermind :unamused:
 
If Tedesco plays origin, I am worried about Rankin at fullback. Am curious around how he would go in the halves.

Addo Carr should get the call up for the wing, but Rankin should certainly be under consideration for the halves if Moses goes down injured.

I don't think he's set the world on fire, he's been solid if nothing else, but if you think our biggest problem is Rankin you clearly have no idea about the game.
 
Such a weak part of our game that we've really missed since Richards departure. While you don't really go onto the player market looking for a player solely for their goal kicking, we're almost at a point where we do.

You're kidding aren't you? Did you see that pathetic attempted tackle on Luke Lewis when teddy was off and rankin was fullback…. Rankin is pathetic and is holding out JAC, remember Keith lulia held out marika, look what happened there, it's going to be the same result cos JT is a peanut and won't replace him
