Moses or Martin?

Zero tackle has Te Maire Martin off contract this year.
Obviously a lot of clubs would be interested because he is a special talent.

Moses has had a poor start to the year and I've read a few users state that they don't think he is the answer or they aren't sold on him yet.

With only a year between them and a lot of talent in both of them…

Who do you think can take the tigers into a successful future?

vote please

come off the grass moses has about 11 nrl games what do you expect a test player give the kid a season or 2 . as for martin I love what I have seen of the kid he makes things happen but you cant keep them all. in state cup drinkwater must be playing ok so we look to have the 1/2 covered

Moses is a champion in the making - it is not going to happen overnight.

You are comparing a player in the NRL and saying he is not that good with a player in the lower grade who is playing ok.

A bit of a difference in the standard of players wouldn't you think.

I don't see why we can't keep both for a couple of seasons.

some tigers fans expect a 20 year old to play like a regular first grader.

Martin to Manly is my mail, so I vote Moses.

wow really? i was literally just thinking thatd be a good match with their halves issues.

alternatively they could get trent from the dogs and martin could go there.

The club and many good judges rate Moses highly and on that one game against the Dogs last year he gave us a preview of what we might see regularly in the future. I am willing to go with the likes of Sterlo and stick with Moses

Martin would have the same learning curve problems that Brooks & Moses are going through. You cannot compare NSW Cup to playing 1st grade against the reigning premiers.

Champions are not made after 10-12 games…...Sterlo, Laurie Daley etc all had limited success in their 1st year or two....but by the end of their careers were substantial footballers. Street Smarts of the footy field are not gained playing in TC20's or NSW Cup but in the big arena against the best sides and best players.

PATIENCE.

I gave Moses my vote only because I really think his game will improve, having said that I know he is young, but if your touted to be the next superstar in our club then you must man up in the NRL and show us what we can expect from his talent…He must show some flair and playmaking skills in the not so distant future or he will risk being the next big flop....just my opinion but I have seen many a talented player being called the next big thing and nothing has come to fruition...if Mitchell wants to play in the big time,he must produce the big plays, that's why he is a playmaker......

really? That would be a shame to lose Te Maire.

Would you rather have him languishing in NSW cup for the WT for the next 3-4 years?…or would you prefer him to potentially realise his potential as a footballer?...I know what I'd like....

Why not Both Trent and Martin?

We have had potential stars in the making for years and all the talked up hype around them.
Jacob Miller
Jake Malloney
Blake Lazarus

To name a few, potential is a beautiful thing.

a lot teams in the passed have used a centre as a second 5/8\. Jamie Lyon, Fittler , Daley ect all played centre and 5/8\. Why not Martin? he has the speed and size. now would be the time to put him at centre to see how he goes, rather than loose him to another team (like Manly) as a 5/8.

Jonathon Thurston was originally recommended to the Tigers by Tommy Raudonikis.

We passed on him because the wisdom at the club said he was too small, too skinny and would never make it as a 1st grade footballer. Thurston went to the dogs where he played mainly NSW Cup with the odd game in 1st's…........

What has he achieved to date???? I REST MY CASE.

Moses for me. We have our own chance at a "big 3" (according to the tele anyway). Anyway, look at how Manly have imploded letting Stewart depart? Team harmony…mates playing with mates. It must be worth something - Tedesco stayed on less coin for the idea of mateship.
Moses is fearless in defence. I love a little bloke having a go. His attack is developing. He will be something special.
