Moses Suli

He's a kid playing against men. He's holding his own at the moment and as such I would say that's a success.

He'll only get better.

Honestly a couple of times I thought it was Big Ava making the hit-up and I thought to myself, "Wow, thats a decent hit-up from Ava"

then realised it was actually Suli.

It's a "happy" mistake to make to be fair.

Interesting article about Suli being picked up from Eels, Moses too.

From memory we have quite a good record of picking up kids from the Eels - Aloiai just recently from the NYC, that's also where we got Ava from. Halatau played for Merrylands, Liam Fulton played for Greystanes.

It makes you wonder why JT played Suli on the wing instead of his normal centre position.

I cant blame JT for that it was the most sensible way to ease him into fg, do you remember where Lawrence first started his fg career? It was on the wing also.

You can hate Taylor on alot of fronts, but he was pretty good at protecting the kids coming through. The maligned Taylorball was a simplified game to protect the halves and groom them, thinking we had the quality across the park to pull it off…. He was wrong...

He never over-used Felise a young prop, and as was stated above with Lawrence, many players were eased into FG on the wing. Luke Lewis also started out there, recently Latrell Mitchell. Its not as though its a move worthy of taking pot shots at him for.

Cleary is coming across as the messiah for the minute, but he is feeding off alot of Taylors work and a bit of inspirational one liners for now. Taylor severely lacked interpersonal skills, thats a fact, but Cleary has only given a couple of verbal wristy's at the minute, and moves like Suli to the centres are born from the foresight of Taylor to identify and ease into FG.

Taylor was never the future, and Cleary is a great choice for the next phase. Im pumped we are transitioning. But Ivan has only had time to talk for now...

20 Hail Nofoaluma's and your back on

He got an ankle injury in round 17 and wasn't spotted again with little to no info on the injury ever given from the club.

Now we've been back for 3 days. Guys like McQueen and Liddell had neck and shoulder surgery and are there yet Moses hasn't been spotted in any of the training pics etc. Does anybody know what's going on with this guy?

Club has said nothing, wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them to give an update on our injured players.
