Moses to Fullback

Potter will continue what he did in the Manly game. Simona to be named at fullback and he will continously switch with Nofo during the game. Lulia will play center.

This could be a permanent decision that Potter may need to make if Teddy is not signed up soon. I was hoping for some news last week, so as to kind of cross promote the leichardt Sunday arvo game. Here's hoping they are going for the Campelltown promo instead (as we know numbers are usually a bit poorer there). Bit of a fizzer though if Teddy doesn't play though.

Moses regularly played fullback in the nyc last season, swapping positions with Rudolph. Simona played fullback but I think only when he was younger. Played mostly centre and had a great combination with Mr T.

Simona was barking instructions to the team when he was at fullback. Good to see in someone who doesn't normally play that position. He's hands down the best option.

Rowe just isn't there yet. He came good at the back end of last year in NYC but was fairly average up til then.

Corey Brown would be a looong way down the pecking order. Has been injured and played 15 mins yesterday and did little.

Calling it now, potter will pick

1\. Nofo
2\. Koro
3\. Simona
4\. Lawrence
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta/Austin (depending on the charge obviously)
7\. Brooks

Dont care who gets picked where, **as long as Koro does not come back in** to the team.

Actually I'd like to see simona at fullback and given some room to run. (not sure about his support play though.

If Teddy is out, Simona will go to fullback and Lulia will come back in. Remain as much consistency as possible.

Potter will select the following;

1\. Simona
2\. Nofo
3\. Lawrance
4\. Lulia
5\. Richards
6\. Anasta (Austin if Anasta is suspended)
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Fulton
12\. Thompson
13\. Blair

14\. Taupau
15\. Gavet
16\. Paterson
17\. Ava

I'm sorry but I don't see Nofo as a fullback at all, I don't know why that is constantly suggested.

Simona has been outstanding every time he has had to play there. Easily our best second option.

Koro's positional play has always been a worry, but is he now playing injured? I watched him get run down by two players on Saturday.

He was a late inclusion on the weekend and didn't play the week before. Not sure what's wrong with him though.

Would live to see Simona there but for 100% sure Potter will be putting Kurtis Rowe

Doubt it.

Still think the less changes the better ,especially with Anasta missing

How do people expect the backline to function in attack and defence when people are suggesting 3,4 or even 5 changes

1 Rowe
2 Richards
3 Simona
4 Lawrence
5 Nofoaluma
6 Austin
7 Brooks

The only other line up I'd possibly consider would be

1 Simona
2 Richards
3 Thompson
4 Lawrence
5 Nofoaluma
6 Austin
7 Brooks

Everyone needs to understand when you have to change the 1 and 6 you want everything else in the backline to stay as settled as possible

Its going to be hard enough to get combinations in the limited time available

x 2\. Rowe is nowhere near ready. Neither is Moses. Neither is Big T for those suggesting he come into the backline.

The logical thing to do with least amount of disruption and keeping players in their spots is to put Simona to fullback and Lulia back to right centre. Simona has experience at FB, Nofa doesn't. If we put Richards at fullback, we have to bring in a left wing, and Koroibete is also far away from FG form.

I dont think Rowe is that far away, he is pretty good technically(positional play and alike) doesnt have the tackle breaking abilities of others, but he'd do a reasonable job if required.

Although Moses is more talented, I think to play fullback this weekend, Rowe would be streets ahead.

As I said in another thread, he is a much better player than Mullaney, and people were calling for his selection.

Both our fullbacks are injured so clearly he's next in line..If Potter didn't put him in there would be no confidence in the new cup squad that they would ever get their chance and that would be bad
