would of been able to see him play in the Indigenous team until they rules him not eligiable due to not playing in the NRL yet they let Burgesss play it was great the young chaps got a run though

They didn't let Tahu play because in his last game for Parra before jumping ship he picked up a 1 game suspension. That was his game he missed.

Gidley - like smeg's said, i just can't see what the hype is about. He's a good solid player, but that's it.

Gidley is a solid fullback who can go all day, he doesn't offer anything super, yet there is a belief amongst selectors that he is a utility.

He is a good utility. He should be the NSW number 14.

Parra are hyped about the return of Tahu - they are already calling for him to be in Origin - well buggered if he is taking Chris Lawrence's spot!

I don't think Tahu is going to have much of an impact…he never really established himself in Yawnion...

Never seen Timana Tahu play have you….

Not recently - spent a lot of time injured or coming off the bench for the Tah's from memory.

The Sammut kid from the 'riff: Had hair like a famous boggerballer at one stage and very little else

Check out the new look Sammut in today's Telecrap, hair flowing, porno mo and new tat, trouble is, either 'he' or the 'tat artist' can't spell 'existence'.

Sandow, he's rubbish and will further be shown up for it in 2010.

Actually i think the opppsite, he has a massive forward pack infront of him this year and i feel he is the sort of player to take full advantage of that.

I think the parra will not be the all conquering behemoth everyone, inthe press that is, wants them to be. If Hayne doesn;t fire they don't the same way we dont if Robbie or Benji don't but they dont have anyone else.

St George will have a good year, but not as good as us.

If Sandow is ordinary again this year he has no place in the NRL. A halves combo of Morris and Fitzhenry would look decent behind that pack.

I think it will be Israel Folau this season, something tells me he is on the slide.

He still isn't back to 100% after that injury is he. Thought he was gonna score a run away try in the All Stars game but he just didn't have the pace did he.

Disagree, he offers nothing from the bench, and has never delivered for NSW. His strength in his game is his endurance, which is not utilised from the bench, plus at fullback guys like Hayne and Stewart offer so much more.

trent barrett for sure, always has been and always will be over rated

After watching the Dragons V Bulldogs game tonight …
How did Darius Boyd ever play Origin AND pull on the green and gold?! He is utter crap.

And don't even get me started on Jamal Idris. He and Tony Williams have the worst defence out of the backs in the game.

Kurt Gidley - Seriosly what is the hubbub over him. I will never understand it. He is a good utility but no star.

Winner winner.

Except he's not even a utility. That's a myth too.

Well Phil Gould loves him because they brought him in as 18th man when he was Origin coach, Andrew Johns is fanatical about him, no surprises there and he seems to be another of Laurie Daley's favourites as well.

I'd still go:
1\. Ennis
2\. Gidley
3\. Cooper
4\. Idris
5\. Simpson
