A team is never about individuals - that's why they call it a team sport.
If Reddy was anywhere near correct, why didn't he name the 12/13 players from our best available team to prove his point that these same players should not be playing first grade.
Over the years, there's always individual players who are scorned for whatever reason - but one thing remains: every individual player who laces up footy boots has courage and enough football smarts to satisfy the coaches who select teams.
Not every player is a potential rugby league immortal - but every player deserves the respect of being the footballer he is.
And back to your question to me: the numbers within our team who are 1st grade standard by Rocket's assessment is irrelevant - the game is to play competitively. As things stand, and just look at the competition table, Wests Tigers are one of all the teams from 6 down who are each a chance of beating anyone - so maybe a champion team will ALWAYS beat a team of champions!

No team in the history of the game owes a young player a spot. The young player has to earn it. Forward passes when the pressure is on and the massive momentum swing from that play doesn say 'pick me' it says im not ready!

Jacob Liddle has done nothing special to earn a first grade spot. Nothing!

For some crazy reason, it seems to make sense that he gets a shot towards the end of the year to see if he’s up to it. What are we going to lose. The young guy from Manly Manase Fainu, he has been brilliant every chance he has got behind his clubs number 1 hooker. Liddle while he has showed brilliance has also been heavily injured and cracked under pressure .

Just calling it from what i have seen. Others however are looking for a reason to dump Farah.

This^ is so pointless, Robbie is certain to play 300 & deserves it, Liddle will be our number #1 and is just as capable, however the idea of them not being able to share it and also Robbie being able to successfully continue mentoring him whilst not on field are the real problems . People have brought up many unnecessary truths on both sides of the coin. Patriot is dead right though!
