To be the best player in the world you got to tougher in defence then Robbie is. No other hooker could do what he does for us but the reason he dont play origin is he tough enough in defence. Watch very carefully when the opposition run at him he never stops them at the line.

And I'm also guessing you haven't watched Matt Scott from the cowboys lately. Let's be honest Gibbs isn't even our best prop.

Ayshford no doubt, solid in attack and in the finals series defended like a pro and made something like 20 tackles as a centre.

He is in my dream team for a reason :slight_smile:

i don't think Robbie is best player in world , but defensively I'm pretty sure he was leading tackler at club and in top 10 in NRL (possibly top 5) in most tackles I wonder what Ennis work rate is in defense ????Not everyone is going to be a Cement Gillespie and snap half the blokes they tackle in half

Dunno about under rated, but Payten is very misunderstood…..he is a distributing, 2nd phase prop, not a metre eater

The most underrated part of Payten is his 1on1 defence and how he cuts blokes down around the legs. We missed his defense in last years games more than the ball playing options.

I defo gotta say GEOFF DANIELA also, how he doesn't get a crack that often is beyond me.

Ditto Demps, although the guy hasn't had much time on the field, lets hope he gets his chances this season, otherwise I guess I'd have to say Todd Paten :sign:
