Most wins to start a season since 2019

In that year, we lost in round 10 to the Storm 24-22 at Melbourne

The mid-season zig zag continues, and we had a good zig on Friday night. Not only a win but a healthy boost to the F/A. Throw in a few other big wins and losses to other teams and we are somehow in 6th place on the ladder. After seeing what the Storm did to the Eels last week, I am fearing a big zag for Round 10 though...

But as of Round 9, we are sitting at 59% chance of making the finals. This puts us at our third most likely chance in our 20 seasons, behind only 2000 (80%) and 2018 (61%). The average chance at this stage is 44% and falling.

We haven't had either bye yet too. Next round would be ideal, the lads looked like they really needed freshening up.

Wow, imagine having that same draw 6 years on and coming back to a Storm home game same round with same preceding record.

Gotta maintain it. Start of 2019 was one the best periods, performance wise in the club’s existence. Certainly the most gritty. But fell of a cliff the second half of the year.

More like a good ol Sheens 06.09 team, we start well, play brilliantly, and then see if we can screw it up while giving fans a heart attack. Better than playing Madgeball circa 2019. I hope we can kick on from here.

I feel like the ol WT drug is back. Supposedly worst team in the comp playing Champagne footy. We are back to being dreamers again. I love it.

I noticed there were a lot of memes after the Parra game about how we were back to sucking. Seemed a real stretch, like people desperately trying to squeeze just one more drop out of a lemon that’s gone dry. Didn’t fit at all, and the last two weeks has proved it.
