havent seen the book of eli yet but denzel is one of my favorite actors. he is in a new movie thats coming out soon but i forget what its called

It's called Unstoppable and he teams up with Chris Pine to stop a runaway train. Supposedly based on a true story.

Saw Red at the movies last week, that was quite enjoyable to watch. John Malkovich was funny while Karl Urban was also good while being played off against Bruce Willis.

The movie sounds a bit like _Atomic Train_.

Yeah that isn't a bad movie. I seem to like most movies Bruce Willis is in.

This movie promises to be everything that the absolute rubbish Skyline isn't. Check out the first trailer for Battle: Los Angeles

Some decent previews have hit the net over the last week or two, check out what look to be some big films for next year:

I saw "Monsters" a week back, I really enjoyed it, my mate didn't though. It's kinda like a mumblecore film within a sci-fi setting.

Saw The Fighter on friday, its quite good. Its a sports movie, so it hits all the familiar beats and I'm well acquainted with the Micky Ward story to begin with. Terrific performance by Christian Bale as Dicky, he steals the show. The mother is a real piece of work too, played by Melissa Leo. Not much actual boxing in the movie though, its more about the family dynamic. Unfortunately the flick leaves out the Arturo Gatti stuff, which was what made Ward a legend.

'The Town' was a decent flick from Ben Affleck, I think they are talking awards for it but I can't say it deserves any.
'Skyline' was some sort of, well I don't know. Save your cash on that.
'Red Hill' is an Aussie movie with Ryan Kwanten. I guess its a Western. The Aboriginal actor is quite good. The rest not so much. And than there is a CGI panther.

re watched Napoleon Dynamite.

I love Kip

Some people shouldn't be allowed to breed.

Funny and difficult to watch at times - 7/10

For those with girlfriends/wives, avoid Love and other drugs at all costs…Very painful film to sit through. I'm off to see Little Fockers tomorrow so hopefully I can regain some of my soul.

Depressing film, even allowing for Anne Hathaway showing plenty of skin, it's just not really a happy film and I didn't find it particularly engaging.
