My son sow Johnny English Reborn today and said it was hilarious.

Yeah I used to get them, line em up on the fence and shoot them. They were good little targets.

red dog isnt a bad aussie movie. some parts of the movie are sad though so have some kleenexs handy. not that i needed them or anything
 
Real Steel is worth a look. It's got a bit of drama/action/redemption all rolled into one. The robot fights are staged well too.

The Magnificent seven, a classic movie Happy, must find my copy and watch it again. Watched Law Abiding Citizen last night, plenty of action as well.
 
Watched the new Ryan Gosling film Drive on the weekend. It's not your conventional drama/action/thriller, certain parts reminded me of Heat but the overall tone is different and has an arthouse feel to it. It starts off slow but builds nicely but the violence is quite graphic. The acting is very good overall though.

Whats the go with all these superhero movies lately?

They are all pretty average and now they going to throw a heap of them into one film? It'd be nice to see something that hasnt been made by some lame arsed comic book nerd.

Drive looks the goods Willow…will check it out.

Why would she? It has Ryan Gosling from the Notebook as the main actor, I thought he was every woman's dream man :blush: :laughing:

Speaking of which, he was good in 'Crazy Stupid Love'
 
This film does not come out until February next year, and while it's another US action film displaying patriotism, what makes it interesting and sets it apart from other action films, is that the stars are actually real life Navy Seals:

Looks to be beautifully shot and the action scenes definitely look accurate.
