Just thinking about having a punt in the few games this arvo..i find that there is a lot of bets you cannot place on the same multi combination ticket..

Just wondering if anyone can assist in some good multi bet combinations for a few sly 5 dollar bets.

e.g - yes or no 40/20 kick into sharks for the win into panthers 13+ etc

Any sorts of feedback would be sweet

Most agencies won't let you place multi bets where one leg can influence another. A lot of the time it seems a little petty but the reasoning I suppose is that if one team doing well in one aspect it is a contributing factor to them winning (if one team kicks more 40/20s it contributes to their overall dominance). I'm not necessarily agreeing but that seems to be the reason.

Also a lot of bets are "single bet only". These are normally the more exotic bets. In that case I'm guessing the reason is they want to control their liability. It gets harder when those bets are buried in multis. Also as shown in the "Ryan Tandy scandal" there is the possibility that punters can hide dubious bets inside a multi bet.

Most agencies won't let you put 2 legs from the same game in the same multi. That's where they will draw the line in regards to one leg influencing another. They also won't let you do a single game leg into a future, eg Tigers to win tomorrow into Tigers to win the comp, as them winning tomorrow night would greatly influence their odds on winning the comp.

I have been in pretty bad form of late with my betting and tipping.

I normally go through sportsbet.com.au and generally I like to put the 'time of 1st try' into my multis.
Its generally $1.90 each way for before or after the 8 minute mark. I like to go for after the 8 minute mark as generally the defensive lines are fresh and teams like to settle in with some safe footy at first.

Picking my own line and also +12.5 or -12.5 are other bets I like to do as well. Either to play it a bit safer and give a team a 12.5 start or to try and add some extra value and give an overwhelming favourite a -12.5 start.

My best multi bet win was 10 legs won $98 from $2.

During soccer season though I like to try my luck at something I call 5 draws for 5 dollars. Soccer draws are usually $3.30ish so if you get 5 it's around $1800-$2000, haven't snared one of them yet.
