Love the look of this kid. Very raw obviously, but wow, he's built like a mack truck and is very aggressive.

The first tackle, he tried to put a big hit and missed completely, and then Fulton had to back up.
I didn't see much of him yesterday, but oh boy, I wanna see more of him!!!

What a way to start your career in the top flight. He ended up playing over 40mins due to all the extra minutes played in extra time.
Our forward stocks over the next few years are looking promising thats for sure, problem is trying to keep them all and find places in the team for them.

It would be hard to come in and make your debut on such a big stage but he was very solid. Did well against a good first grade forward pack in semi final football and at no stage looked out of his depth.

saw ben murdoch in some of u/20's this year and keebra park last year and he looked the goods. there was talk that this kid might be in first gde by the end of the year albeit because of the number of injuries. it does look good for next season though

Side by side against Fifita he's shorter, but they both have that thick, powerful upper body. Murdoch is quicker than Fifita too, I've seen him make a few busts in the Toyota Cup this year when running wide of the ruck at the opposition centres, and when he gets in the clear he's got good pace. He's one player the Tigers have big wraps on and they'll be looking to keep him long-term provided he continues to improve.
With the likes of Dwyer, Fifita, Murdoch, Woods, Roqica, Begovich coming through the system, the Tigers forward stocks are looking good.

If you can find the video of the Arrive Alive Cup Final last year, you will all be very excited. The guy singlehandedly won the game. It was like a Man playing against kids!!!

Ben Murdoch has come on in leaps and bounds since I saw him in the trials...I admit I was surprised when Sheens picked him but good luck to the kid....Now of we can only get bash brother J Schirnack in the team....

This kid is raw but he is extremely talented. Our pack in the future with the experience of Farah, Ellis, Gibbs, Galloway and Fulton combined with Dwyer, Fifita, and Murchdoch-Masila will be massive. Our club is looking good for the future.

In a case of 'i told you so' i did pick Murdoch to make his debut this year in the section "Predictions" on the main page. I saw the Arrive Alive GF and thought this kid had it.
I must admit though i didn't think his debut would come in a semi final.
He has a very promising future and a good off-season with Folkes will do him the world of good.
To have Fifita, Dwyer, Moors, Murdoch and Woods coming through us very exciting. It is not often you get a batch of front rowers coming through one club as good as this lot.
