A young girl getting sexually assaulted by a 110kg footy player is and his mate is disgusting.

If this happened to any of my family, they'd be locking me away too.

I don't know why we're even questioning this.

I agree. lock him up for 5 years or whatever the maximum sentence is. I hope he never plays for our club

If madge thinks Musgrove is good enough, then just sign the bloke up and get him into pre-season training.

I've seen worse behavior at sweet 16 birthday parties. The world is going bananas.

If you think sexual assault in any form is ok you are an enabler at best and quite possibly some kind of sex pest yourself at worst. You are part of the problem, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I'll probably take a ban for this but I'll wear that; your comment is disgusting.

He wouldn't have been convicted on a whim, we are also not there to witness the whole case, I'd say the evidence and testimony would have been substantial enough for a guilty verdict. He's lodged an appeal so I guess we'll have to see what comes of that.

Yeh mate I agree, I have 2 daughters, an almost 19 year old and a 21 year old, I would like to think they can go out without being inappropriately groped or harrassed.

@851 Agree with your sentiment mate.

I don't want Musgrove at the club, whether he was guilty or not. This club needs to start looking at building a genuinely strong squad, not constantly grabbing at random scraps that no one else wants.

We can do better than Musgrove. And if we have the cash to chase Moylan, then we should be spending it far better.

Can't half tell Warren McDonnell is back at the club....

Yeah I think we need to move on from it. If we're hanging our hats on Musgrove being the difference in 2020 we're going to fall short again.

We have talent on the rise, that is 10x better than Musgrove

No wonder the world is full of male incels.
Men can't flirt these days without being scared of repercussions or false accusations.
Glad I'm not young today out trying to meet girls.

What Musgrove is being convicted on was the normal on the dancefloor when I was 20. I used to get women putting their hand down my pants to fondle my junk and vice versa. Grabbing a bit of breast and butt was the go to get feedback if you're in or not.

These days it's a crime.

So Musgrove is now apparently a convicted sex offender because he grinded against a girl he was flirting with on the dance floor, and then kissed her. She didn't object, push him away, or say no, and so he kissed her again.

Is that what happened? Thats what the newspaper said happened, so that's all i have to go off.

If so, go jump in the lake you pathetic rock spider. I'll happily hold your head down.

How Christian of you!

Which bit got you to remember I'm a Christian?

The part where i disgaree with the over-the-top penalty?

Or the part where i volunteered to hold that moron @2041's head under water?

I grew up in a time also - where mostly men in my experience - thought it was no big deal to touch a person in sensitive areas without consent. In crowds it was a bit of a joke and you would see girls turn around in horror while the offender would look the other way so they wouldn't know who was responsible, and then laugh when the girl moved on. Saw it time and time again at concerts and venues where there were crowds and alcohol - and girls of that time basically copped it sweet or found themselves having to verbally attack males and possibly make themselves more vulnerable to intimidation.
I for one am glad that this is considered no longer acceptable and until knuckleheads get this through their thick skulls - I have no sympathy.

@Abraham Your words though understandable are not condonable. They went too far, it's no excuse for your continued actions.

That's a different kettle of fish. Groping in a crowd is creepy. Always has been.
These two were dancing with each other and they kissed twice. It was a social interaction between two people. If she wasn't interested she could have walked away and said no thanks.
You don't think she would go for seconds if she wasn't enjoying the attention?

And that's precisely why I banned him.

The system found them guilty so have to assume their was evidence that helped form that conclusion.
For too many years men have got away with appalling behavior when it comes to young women. Some might consider it has gone a bit extreme the other way - but it needed to because it appears that some are still taking some time to understand that things have changed.

I’ve got 4 grown sons and glad of it. I would not like to be a father of daughters now or even when I was a young fella.

People trying to make out that Musgrove is a douchebag because he fronted court for kissing a girl (does anyone know for sure he did anything worse?) then go to any night club, pub or bar and open your eyes. I‘ve seen plenty of men, not just footballers, degrade and abuse women over trivial matters.

I’m waiting eagerly to see if De Belin gets away with what he and his mate did - THAT is disgusting and I personally think he is 100% guilty.

the thing is people are ceasing to see the various levels of sexual based offences, and are just putting them all in as sex offences.

In the prison sex offenders units, they don't recognize the difference between adult and child offences, they are just labeled as offences. In the real world it's treated much different, but for "therapeutic" reasons they see no different

If what was reported was true .....I can put my hand up and say many years ago I completely misread a friend I was dancing with intentions .........we were doing the lambada ......it is easily done
